She downed her drink smoothly and decisively, not leaving a single drop.

Sumr Sutton didn’t notice. She set the glass aside and continued eating her late-night snack.
As she ate, Sumr Sutton started to feel a bit dizzy.
However, she didn’t think much of it.
Rubbing her temples, Sumr Sutton picked up the glass from the table and took a look.
She had assigned everything to Marshall Quinn to handle. His competence was so reassuring to Sumr Sutton that she had brought the alcohol ho for quite so ti now. Only after both Adrian and she had each drunk a glass did she rember to check the alcohol’s strength.
Sumr Sutton was fine not knowing, but the sight of it shocked her.
The label on the bottle showed an alcohol content of 68%.
For soone like Sumr Sutton, who could hardly be considered a drinker, that concentration was astronomical.
Sumr Sutton usually drank beers with only a few percent alcohol, and even then, two glasses would leave her a bit tipsy. She couldn’t imagine what effect over sixty degrees would have once consud.
At this mont, the aftereffects of the alcohol hadn’t really kicked in for Sumr Sutton. Just seeing the number made her head spin.
Her hand, which was holding the chopsticks to pick up food, started trembling as well.
This night was important to her. She had put in so much effort, had Marshall run such a long way, and prepared so many things, all for tonight.
If she got drunk first, what would happen to her important matters?
Sumr Sutton panicked a little, standing up abruptly, instinctively wanting to rush to the kitchen to find sothing to sober up.
However, just as she stood straight, the dizziness attacked her again.
Using the dining table to steady herself, Sumr Sutton didn’t dare to move recklessly anymore.
If she took a few steps and then collapsed to the ground, how embarrassing would that be?
Beside her, Watt Bennet lounged lazily against the back of the chair, staring at her.
Despite both having a glass, his reaction to the alcohol was completely different from Sumr Sutton’s.
Sumr had just downed the drink a couple of minutes ago, and already she felt her head was no longer under control, yet he seed perfectly unaffected.

"You... you..." Sumr Sutton stared at him dumbfounded for a mont, her head slowly processing, abruptly turning her gaze to her own glass.
In shock at the drink she had consud, her face turned slightly pale.
"Did you ss with my drink?" She looked at him in disbelief, her eyes wide.
"Saying that, no guilty conscience?" Watt Bennet leaned his body slightly towards her, observing her up close, responded softly.
Sumr Sutton looked at him incredulously, rendered speechless by his retort.
He actually knew!
Knew it all along, yet pretended not to, leaving her to perform so earnestly alone!
"You despicable bastard!" she cursed through gritted teeth, not caring that she was technically the instigator of tonight’s events. Sumr Sutton couldn’t hold back without cursing him.
Her hand tremblingly pointed at him, wanting to vent more, but the dizziness in her head grew more severe.
Sumr Sutton couldn’t hold on, and her unconscious body fell toward Watt Bennet.
Watt Bennet caught her waist with one arm, looked quietly at her sleeping face for a mont, then whispered, tenderly, "Sleep well, darling!"
