Her long eyelashes were tightly closed, showing no signs of waking.
Watt sat helplessly by the bedside, left with no choice but to continue waiting.
A little past two o’clock, he glanced at his wristwatch and thought Sumr Sutton might wake up this ti, so he asked Marshall to order another takeout. To his surprise, it was delivered, but Sumr still hadn’t woken up.
After three o’clock, Sumr was still asleep.
Near five in the evening, Watt felt that even if she drank and was sleepy, it had been a whole day and night; by now, she should have woken up hungry.
Yet, Sumr was still deeply asleep.
Watt beca so worried about her well-being that he almost called Alexander over to be on standby at ho.
Thankfully, at six o’clock, Sumr finally woke up.
Her eyelashes fluttered, and her head felt heavy, as if filled with lead.
After shaking her head to clear it a bit, Sumr glanced at Watt beside the bed.
Thinking about last night, she was now infuriated just seeing him.
Clenching her fist, she punched him in the chest, "You’re too much!"
Watt remained silent.
What did he do that was excessive?
Wasn’t she the one at fault?
"Feeling better?" He asked with concern, reaching out to touch her forehead.
Sumr had slept for such a long ti that Watt, for a mont, worried she might not wake up from being so drunk.
Sumr’s carefully planned actions from last night had amounted to nothing.
Feeling frustrated, she ignored Watt’s words, glanced at his face, and took advantage of his distraction to try to remove the mask from his face.
But he dodged away.
"Now that you’re awake, get up and eat properly. Marshall has fetched takeouts five or six tis already." Watt tossed this remark at her and headed to the dining room.
Sumr pulled off the covers and got out of bed, feeling particularly gloomy as she looked at her ssy hair and still sowhat flushed face in the bathroom mirror while washing up.
How could she fail at sothing like this!
Old fox!
Sumr felt especially defeated, dawdling in the bathroom unwilling to go out and see him.
She stayed in there so long that Watt thought sothing might be wrong.
When he pushed the wheelchair over, Sumr was sitting on the toilet lid out of boredom, playing with a roll of toilet paper.
This made Watt’s eye twitch once.
"I’m used to all the tis you embarrassed yourself." With a hint of exasperation, he threw this remark at her and left the room ahead of her.
As he reached the door, he unexpectedly added, "Eat, then I’ll have Marshall send you ho!"
Sumr didn’t want to go out initially, and his words only made it harder for her.
"I’m not hungry!" Tossing the roll of paper aside, she nonchalantly began organizing her makeup.
"If you’re not hungry, I’ll have Marshall send you ho, and he can buy you takeout once you’re back." Watt seed quite insistent.
Sumr was rendered speechless; she hesitated before putting down the makeup in her hand and slowly walked toward him.
"Then I better eat!" After not eating for a day and a night, she was now famished. There was no need to keep making it difficult for herself.
As for leaving after eating, she didn’t believe he could really kick her out if she decided to stay.
After all, Sumr was no stranger to shalessness lately. Adrian himself had said she no longer had any image in front of him, so one more act of impudence wouldn’t matter.
