Watt Bennet was working on his laptop in the living room.
Sumr Sutton glanced at him, lightly twirling a lock of her hair between her fingers, and slowly walked towards him.
She paced around him deliberately, circling again and again.
Watt’s face remained slightly lowered, showing no reaction.
Unwilling to back down, Sumr took a few steps towards him and plopped down beside him.
She had just finished her bath, leaving a very faint fragrance; sitting close, Sumr’s body was touching Watt’s.
Watt could clearly sll the scent on her.
His typing speed seed to slow down a bit.
Sumr pretended not to notice, leaning her back against him, and even in front of him, began applying body lotion.
She lifted her slender neck gently, lotioning her neck, then her arms, and finally her legs.
In his peripheral vision, Watt glanced in her direction.
From his angle, he could perfectly see Sumr’s profile, her exquisite face, elegant swan neck, and the alluring curve of her chest...
Every image was a huge impact for Watt.
With her back to him, Sumr secretly guessed his reaction.
In truth, she was just feeling discontent.
This evening, they had almost gone all the way, and knowing Adrian Walyon’s usual deanor, Sumr thought he would want to continue when he returned.
But unexpectedly, he picked up his laptop and beca seriously absorbed in work.
Was it easy for Sumr to make him lose his senses even once?
She had barely managed it, only for things to stop halfway; no matter how much she thought about it, she couldn’t figure it out.
She had lingered so long in front of him, trying to make her intentions clear for Watt to see.
He clearly knew everything, but after sitting by him for ages, desperately trying to get his attention, his reaction was to scoop her up and toss her onto the bed.
Initially, Sumr thought he brought her into the room to finish what they started earlier.
While lying in bed, her cheeks turned slightly red.
She closed her eyes, ready to welco him, only to find that his next move was to pull up the bedspread and tuck her in securely.
"Just sleep well, I’m going back to work for a while." He dropped this line and turned to leave the room.
Sumr’s eyes shot open, her entire expression freezing instantly.
Glaring in his direction, she impulsively grabbed a pillow and hurled it at the back of his head, "Adrian Walyon!"
Her voice was loud, sounding quite fierce, laced with clear annoyance.
Watt paused in his steps, casting a fleeting look at her with the corner of his eyes, but said nothing.
He shut the room door with a flick of his wrist and quietly walked away.
Sumr was so furious she rolled back and forth on the bed, irritably pulling the pillow over her face.
She made a ntal note to rember this night well!
Either he never touches her again or when he finally wants her, that would be the ti to settle the score with him!
...
While working in the living room, Watt occasionally glanced towards the room where Sumr was.
He was initially quite concerned about her mood, but after he left, the room fell silent.
Sumr seed to have fallen asleep, and was sleeping quite soundly.
When Watt gently opened the door to her room past midnight to check in, Sumr was wrapped up in the bedspread, sprawled out comfortably, her breathing even and steady.
