Seeing Li Qingcang in this state, Ye Tianxin thought it was best to let him have some time alone. She left the hospital room quietly.
She stood by the hallway of the hospital and stared out of the window. She used her hand to draw out of the mist on the window. Somehow, she felt uneasy about the whole thing.
“Tianxin.”
Ying Yimei approached Ye Tianxin when she saw her from afar. “Is Cuican feeling better?”
“Yes, she’s much better now.”
Ying Yimei broke into a laugh as she looked at Ye Tianxin.
“Ye Tianxin, why are you so defensive around me? Are you afraid that I will take Li Qingcang away from you?”
Ye Tianxin did not expect Ying Yimei to say that. She looked at Ying Yimei, her lips curling into a smile.
“If you are not afraid of being embarrassed, suit yourself.”
Ying Yimei was still smiling with self-satisfaction.
“How funny, Tianxin. Don’t worry, I am only joking. I know that I am not worthy of QIngcang. Unlike you, I don’t e from a good family. You and Qingcang are a match made in heaven. I’m nothing pared to you; I know full well where I stand. If you don’t want me to see Li Qingcang, I can stop. Don’t take it out on him because of me.”
Ye Tianxin could not help but smirk when she heard those words.
Ying Yimei was just like Li Zhiwei. They would say such nice things while acting so sweet and innocent. Most people would often be left speechless with their behavior and words as they were left to wonder how much more hypocritical could they get.
“Ying Yimei, there aren’t many people like you who know their limits.”
Ye Tianxin smiled slightly. It was a pity that Li Qingcang was not a fool. He would not think Ye Tianxin was bullying Ying Yimei just because of what the latter just said. “Tianxin.”
Li Qingcang walked up to Ye Tianxin and held her hand.
“What are you doing out here? You’ll catch a
cold.”
Ye Tianxin used her other hand to touch Li Qingcang’s face playfully. “Is it that cold?”
No, her hand felt very warm to Li Qingcang.
“Let’s go in.”
Li Qingcang pulled her into the hospital ward.
Ying Yimei took a deep breath and smiled sweetly at the two of them. “Qingcang, Tianxin, wait for me.”
Li Qingcang stopped in his tracks and looked at Ying Yimei with a solemn expression. He looked hard at her, causing Ying Yimei’s heart to skip a beat.
Ying Yimei would always go all out to be the best in everything she did.
She made it into a university overseas by sheer hard work.
Similarly, if she were to marry, she would choose the most outstanding guy she could find. This guy was Li Qingcang. She had never set her eyes on any other man ever since she met him.
“Cuican will not be receiving any outsiders. Please leave.”
Li Qingcang’s words were curt and cold enough to hurt Ying Yimei.
The more he pushed her away, the more persistent she became. Only a man like Li Qingcang was worthy of her.
Ye Tianxin had nothing to pete with her.
Ying Yimei told herself she would be patient and wait for Li Qingcang to get tired of Te Tianxin.
As long as there was a glimmer of hope, she would stand a chance.
“All right then, I’ll make a move first. Give me a call if you need anything. Goodbye, Qingcang and Tianxin.” With that, Ying Yimei turned to walk away. She did not look back at all.
