The lighter and softer Li Qingcang’s voice got, the harder Ye Tianxin cried.
The panic and restlessness in her heart rose like a tornado. It appeared to have drowned her entire self.

She sat up from Li Qingcang’s embrace and hugged him tightly. “Sorry, you must’ve been worried about my crying.”
Li Qingcang brushed Ye Tianxin’s hair away from her forehead. he lowered his head to kiss her.
“Tianxin, Dr. Hua said that you cannot afford to get too emotional.”
Ye Tianxin nodded her head obediently, like a child who had done something wrong.
“I know. From now on, I won’t worry about that kind of thing anymore.”
Ye Tianxin took a deep breath, as though she was exhaling all the bad feelings from her body.
“Do you want to rest now?”
Ye Tianxin nodded. “I do, but I want to hear some sort of soothing sound now.”
“All right, wait a moment.”
Li Qingcang went to the other end of the bed and turned on a switch. Light music sounded across the room, acpanied by a girl’s voice. It was clear and soft.
As Ye Tianxin closed her eyes, she slowed down her thoughts.
The music eased away all her tension and fear.
Ye Tianxin’s face gradually softened as she relaxed her entire body.
When Li Qingcang turned around and saw Ye Tianxin smile, he looked relieved. His eyes were full of affection and love for her.
Suddenly, a fire was starting to rise in her abdomen.
It was burning gradually like a ball of fire before engulfing Ye Tianxin and burned her into ashes.
“It’s so hot..”
Ye Tianxin reached out and tugged at her collar.
She had unconsciously exposed a part of her delicate and fair skin.
Li Qingcang quickly stretched out his hand to pull up Ye Tianxin’s clothes.
Just as he pulled up her collar, she started to pull it down again.
Li Qingcang was kept awake the whole night.
