The male and female leads were based on real people?
This… It was not just Ye Tianxin and Yan Jun who were hearing this for the first time.

He had never expected that Du Juan had embellished the story of real people to create this script.

Du Juan thought of the past, and her eyes softened.
“She agreed, and she even wrote me a letter authorizing me to do so.”
Du Juan’s voice was clear and gentle. Every word she said made Ye Tianxin’s heart burn with passion.

She was afraid that she would not be able to play this character well.
“As for what kind of man Zhou Hong is, I have never seen him because he had died while in service.”
Du Juan suddenly stood up and bowed.

Only Du Juan and Jin Xin remained in the office. Jin Xin walked up to Du Juan and sat down.

“Why did you not tell me about this before?”
A small smile formed on Du Juan’s lips. “I was still looking for a suitable actress to play this character then. Ying Tao was a kind woman. She was the one who taught me to hold on to my dreams. She was also the one who gave me the name ‘Du Juan’.” Du Juan teared up a bit as she recalled. “She said that the mountains in her hometown were covered in wild azaleas. These azaleas might be wildflowers, but when they bloom, they are incredibly beautiful… I dream of her often, Jin Xin. She’s always in my thoughts.”
The woman appeared in her dreams, and she gave Du Juan a meat bun. She also told her that her dreams would e true.
“Jin Xin, I know that the movie might be a flop, but I don’t care. I just want to make this movie and to tell her that we haven’t seen each other in almost 20 years and I miss her. I miss her very, very much.”
Jin Xin held Du Juan’s hand. He nodded and said, “Wasn’t Ying Tao pregnant in the end? Perhaps she is still alive. Maybe you two will meet again once the movie is released.”
“I hope so, too.” Du Juan laughed softly. She would not give up as long as there was hope.
She went back too late then. Had she gone back earlier, the two of them would not have parted without news from each other ever since.
Jin Xin laughed. When he first met Du Juan, she had just been an ordinary girl. She wrote a script and stood outside the door of the movie studio, hoping that a director would be able to take a look at the stubborn girl.
