“Tianxin, it’s time. Quick, enter your registration number.”
Du Juan saw the time and knew that the results were already up. She reminded Ye Tianxin to enter her registration number.
Ye Tianxin took out her registration certificate and sighed.
Then, she entered the number in the box on the screen.
As the webpage loaded, Ye Tianxin could feel her fingers trembling. She looked at the screen nervously.
Then she pressed the ‘enter’ key forcefully.
The webpage flickered and jumped to a different one.

Ye Tianxin covered her face and turned around to hug Du Juan, who was speechless. Tears of joy ran down her face.
The total score for the college entrance exam was 750, and Ye Tianxin managed to score 749.
“Tianxin, you’re amazing!”
Du Juan hugged Ye Tianxin excitedly. Seven hundred forty-nine! That was such a high score. This was practically the highest score in history.
She was just one mark away from 750.

Tears welled Ye Tianxin’s eyes. She had joined the set and started an intense filming schedule right after the college entrance exams ended.

Grandmother was sitting inside the teachers’ office. She switched on the speaker on her phone so that Mr. Chen would be able to hear Ye Tianxin’s voice as well.
“Grandmother, my college entrance exam results are out. I got 749.”
Mr. Chen was in disbelief. He stood up when he heard what Ye Tianxin had said. “Ye Tianxin, how many marks did you say you got?” he confirmed.
Ye Tianxin repeated, “Seven hundred and forty-nine. I got a mark deducted from the language exam. I scored full marks for the other three papers.”
Mr. Chen was so stunned that he fell back onto his seat. Was…was this real?

The discipline master stood up anxiously. He accidentally kicked the office table and did not even care that it hurt. “Is this real?” He was in disbelief, too.
Mr. Chen nodded. His was beaming.
