Things in this world can generally be divided into two types. One is called "trash", the other is "mind-blowing".
Every ti Chen Xuantian thought sothing was trash and that he had seen all there is to see, a fish would co along, slap him with a tail, and show him sothing truly mind-blowing, leaving him dumbfounded.
What’s this about Level 4.5 civilization and Level 5 life forms? Is that still human speech?
So Chen Xuantian thought there was a communication error, a translation issue, insisting he was talking about Kardashev civilization levels. Earth hasn’t even reached Level 1 yet, are you mistaken?
Then the carp said, who said I was speaking human language? Use your brain, do fish have vocal organs? Do fish speak human words? We’re communicating with eye contact, Primordial Spirit interaction, understanding with our hearts! I’m talking about Kardashev levels too, you thief!
Chen Xuantian was speechless...
"Don’t be speechless! Get a move on! Here, here! Quick, put your head in!"
The white carp angrily slapped the water with its fin, creating ripples as if a door had been opened.
"Alas..."
With little choice, Chen Xuantian sighed, as he skillfully imrsed his head in the water, passed through the water mbrane, and opened his eyes.
This ti he wasn’t a fish.
He was an embryo.
An embryo sealed in a jar, floating in the clear, transparent amniotic fluid, about the size of a fist, even with one eye open.
This mory, or ti-space, or dream, whatever it was, was a laboratory.
And its style was completely different, neither the classical cultivation of Taiji Realm nor the industrial wasteland style of Earth. From the unique architectural style and decorative patterns, it resembled so unique charm similar to Middle Eastern culture. Well, how fish would describe it is unknown, in human terms, though.
Looking up, the Mukanas-style beehive do could be seen, a unique three-dinsional space decoration, created by stacking small units layer by layer, centripetally radiating to form a complex structure. Like interlocking prisms or overlapping honeycombs, it offers a floating and changing light and shadow visual effect.
The surface of the building’s walls employed enal gemstones, crystal, and agate extensively, adorning the colorful tiles of Kirih. The tiles ford a highly mathematical mosaic system based on pentagons, decagons, and diamonds, creating star-like, radiating or quasi-crystalline complex patterns.
As for other furniture and decorative utensils, they were based on the infinite repetition of geotric figures, interwoven with abstract lines of tangled vines, curling palm leaves creating ornate, intricate patterns. It wasn’t just an accumulation of precious materials; the infinite repetition and centripetal composition alone revealed the civilization behind these patterns contained profound geotric knowledge.
And this room, decorated gorgeously like a palace, was made chaotic by the owner. On the side where Chen Xuantian was, there were shelves with glass jars of various sizes, filled with embryos of bizarre shapes and colorful hues, he was just one among them.
The opposite wall was a bookshelf, piled high with Scriptures and parchnt scrolls. To the left was apparently a workbench, cluttered with bottles and jars, and to the right seed to be a blackboard, scrawled with a bunch of vine-like rune equations. An empty space was left in the middle of the floor, where silver lines sketched out a complex and ornate geotric pattern, at the core of which sat a large cauldron, the liquid inside glistening like pristine amber, shining under the light of the Mukanas crystal do.
Hmm? Wait, hold on, where’s the door? How co there’s no door?
Before Chen Xuantian could fully see his surroundings, suddenly a big eyeball poked in through the glass, staring directly at Chen Xuantian, nearly scaring him breathless.
Luckily, he was still an embryo, soaking in clear amniotic fluid, so the eye stared for a while with no outrageous action, only emitting a humming whisper.
This was another language he’d never heard before, buzzing and chattering like wasps fluttering their wings. And as the person on the other side of the glass lifted their head, revealing their full appearance, Chen Xuantian saw clearly.
This person had a high nose and deep eyes, tea-colored hair and violet pupils, unlike people from the Central Plains, seemingly from the Federation side, looked quite young, about seventeen or eighteen years old, wrapped in a black robe, with a golden leaf on the chest, resembling the black-robed won seen earlier in the dream.
And his language and movents, visibly accelerated as if soone in the shadows pressed fast-forward at x8, no, x24 speed, only seeing a figure shift left and right in the laboratory, jumping and flashing, reading scrolls, concocting sedatives, calculating magic techniques, setting up arrays, dumping embryos one by one into the central cauldron of the array, soaking them in colorful magic potions, and then pulling a switch to electrify, with a ’pop’, blasting them into pulp or roasting them to carbon or grinding them to ash.
Well, fine, so this was a magical world. Fortunately, there were plenty of embryos on the shelf, so for now it was not Chen Xuantian’s turn. He soaked in the jar, watching with one eye.
At first, Chen Xuantian didn’t know what he was looking at, but as ti flew by, passing like a song, just one eye watching the moon and sun rotate, Hui Ming changing, the young person’s black robe turned white, tea-colored hair turned grey, visibly accelerated into a ragged old man, conducting monotonous magical research day after day, year after year, and slowly he grasped the lody of ti playing out.
