THE NEXT three months for Gong Hanseo had been busy.

Well, he spent most of his ti taking care of Kang Daeho.

He was officially on vacation, so he didn’t have to work even at ho.

So, aside from his wedding preparations, he spent all his free ti making sure that Kang Daeho and his baby were both safe and healthy.

He couldn’t help but pay extra attention to his sunbae because of his sensitive pregnancy.

"Stress is normal during pregnancy since your body is going through many changes. Moreover, as your hormones change, so do your moods. But too much stress is bad for the baby," Dr. Kim, the OB-GYN, said to Kang Daeho. "Too much stress can cause you to have trouble sleeping, headaches, loss of appetite, etc. All of which can be harmful to you and your baby."

Gong Hanseo may not be the pregnant one, but he still listened carefully to the doctor.

After all, Kang Daeho looked so out of it.

I wonder what Daeho Hyung is thinking when the doctor is talking to him...

"High levels of stress can also cause high blood pressure, which may cause you preterm labor or a low-birth-weight infant."

Okay, that got Gong Hanseo worrying.

Since Kang Daeho wasn’t asking questions, he did.

"What can we do to prevent that from happening, Doc?"

"It seems like Kang Daeho-ssi is under stress these days," the doctor said while glancing at Kang Daeho. Ah, the doctor also noticed that Kang Daeho wasn’t himself at the mont. "If talking to a trusted friend or loved one isn’t enough, I recomnd talking to a professional. I can refer Kang Daeho-ssi to a therapist I know. We can squeeze a session during his prenatal visits."

Gong Hanseo was just about to accept the doctor’s recomndation, but...

"I don’t need to see a therapist— I’m fine," Kang Daeho, who had just "returned" to them, said. "Hanseo is enough."

"DAEHO HYUNG, did sothing happen?" Gong Hanseo asked worriedly while driving the car. "You look pretty down."

"I t my ex-husband’s current lover."

"I went shopping yesterday. That’s where I t that bitch," Kang Daeho said, obviously upset. "That bitch was covered in branded clothes from head to toe. Clearly, now that my ex-husband is out of the hospital and I’m out of the picture, they’re living the life."

But Gong Hanseo knew that it wasn’t just about the luxury clothes and stuff, so he just kept his mouth shut.

"Lee Min, that bastard, was stingy to when we were still married," Kang Daeho said, obviously ranting about his ex-husband. "He barely bought luxury items. And, even when he did, I often had to ask for the receipt and exchange the item for sothing I really wanted because he sucked at choosing gifts. One ti, I "joked" and told him that he should just lend his bank card and let shop for myself. Did you know what he said to ?"

"No, what did he say?"

"He accused of being a gold digger! As if he has gold to be dug! Yes, he’s rich. But he’s very stingy!"

To be honest, Gong Hanseo couldn’t relate.

Kyungmin Hyung is very generous to , after all...

"And now he’s showering his mistress with luxury brands?" Kang Daeho let out a deep sigh. "I can also afford the things that the bitch was wearing because of the compensation and allowance I get from you and your partner. But that bitch got because of that damned bag..."

"They’re known for being snobbish. Even their sales associates act as if they own the brand."

Gong Hanseo gave a vague reply because he didn’t want to upset Kang Daeho even more.

The branch where Kyungmin Hyung and I go to has nice sales associates. Or maybe they’re just nice because Kyungmin Hyung is a VVIP.

"Those stupid sales associates turned away when I said I wanted to buy a bag," Kang Daeho continued with his rant. "Worse, my husband’s mistress was there when it happened. He saw and laughed at . It just so happened that he made an appointnt that day, so he was entertained by the sales associates while I was practically kicked out!"

"If he visited because of an appointnt, then he must have waited for at least a year. Even then, we’re not sure if he was able to buy a bag. Just because you scored an appointnt doesn’t an they’ll offer you a bag. And, even if they did, you can’t choose what bag to buy. If you’re desperate, you’ll have to settle for whatever they offer you."

Yeah, it was that kind of store.

At least, that was what Gong Hanseo heard from others.

Personally, I haven’t experienced such difficulties. Kyungmin Hyung brings to that store whenever he wants, without an appointnt. And, yet, we’re always welcod warmly. Yes, we have never left the store empty-handed. The bags that Kyungmin Hyung wants to buy for are always available.

Of course, he didn’t tell Kang Daeho because he would sound like he was bragging.

"Hanseo-ya."

"Yes, Hyung?"

"You have Hera’s bags. Quite a few of them, actually."

"I also noticed that so of the bags that you own from that brand are the rare ones," Kang Daeho said. "Are those gifts from Kyungmin-ssi?"

"Ah, yes. They are from Kyungmin Hyung. I don’t personally shop for high-end luxury items."

It wasn’t that Gong Hanseo couldn’t afford them.

But he wasn’t that rich either— at least, not compared to Seong Kyungmin.

And, as soone who grew up poor, I’m kinda frugal. Even if I have money now, I only splurge after thinking of it at least ten tis.

"If Kyungmin-ssi was able to buy all those rare handbags for you, then he must be a VIP client. I heard only VIP clients can buy several bags a year."

"Uhm, I think so."

"Hanseo-ya."

"Yes, Hyung?"

"I heard that Lee Min’s mistress set an appointnt for two days, so he’ll be back in the store tomorrow," Kang Daeho said, giving Gong Hanseo a pleading look. "Can you ask Kyungmin-ssi to bring us to Hera’s tomorrow? I know that VIP clients don’t need an appointnt— they can walk in to the store anyti they want."

Whew.

Gong Hanseo was relieved to know that Seong Kyungmin was free tomorrow.

He asked his lover to visit Hera’s while they were having dinner at ho.

Hyung agreed without asking questions.

And it seed like they really could walk into Hera’s, even without an appointnt.

But, to be sure...

"We can go even without an appointnt?"

"I never had to make an appointnt to stores I want to go to, unless I want them closed for that day for a private shopping spree," Seong Kyungmin explained, pausing for a mont. "Do you want to ask them to close their shop so we can go shopping privately?"

Gong Hanseo imdiately shook his head. "No, there’s no need for that, Hyung."

"Why not? It’s rare for you to ask to go shopping."

Okay, that made him feel guilty.

"Actually, Hyung..."

"Yeah?"

Gong Hanseo told Seong Kyungmin about his conversation with Kang Daeho.

Fortunately, his lover didn’t look disappointed.

"If it’s just an Hera’s bag or two, then we can totally get it for Kang Daeho," Seong Kyungmin said casually. "If it will lessen his stress, then it’s just a small price to pay. It’s for our baby anyway."

"The price of one Hera’s bag is not small, Hyung. Let pay for it."

"No, babe. Let handle it."

"Hyung..."

"Fine. I’ll let you pay for the bag if you let rent the entire store for the day."

"That’s so unfair," Gong Hanseo complained, pouting. "You know that I won’t let you do that. Is it really hard for you to let pay this once?"

"I don’t want you paying for soone else, babe."

"But do you think I’m fine that you’re paying for soone else? It’s a luxury bag, Hyung."

"I know, but you’re not the jealous type— I am."

"Hanseo-ya, I know that you used to have a crush on Kang Daeho."

"That was a lifeti ago, Hyung..." Gong Hanseo trailed off. "But how did you know that I used to have a crush on Daeho Hyung? Only Garam knows about that."

"It was just a hunch. You ntioned once that you used to have a crush on an Oga, but that Oga married an Alpha. That contributed to your belief that Alphas and Ogas belong to each other."

"Even so, I still don’t like you spending your money on your ex-crush," Seong Kyungmin said, gently pinching Gong Hanseo’s cheek. "I get jealous when you pay so much attention on Kang Daeho, babe."

"Why get jealous? I don’t have feelings for Daeho Hyung anymore," Gong Hanseo said, placing his hand on Seong Kyungmin’s hand on his cheek. "You’re the one I’m in love with, Kyungmin Hyung— and you’re the only person I want to spend the rest of my life with."
