He had him by the throat, a vital point, and it still wasn’t enough to subdue this Fierce Beast?!
The crowd was growing numb. Their hopes were shattered ti and again, and the tall white man seed utterly invincible.
So the Finger Technique throat lock had no effect?
It seed only a direct attack on the body’s weakest points—the groin, eyes, pressure points on the skull, or temples—would have any effect.
But hitting those spots was incredibly difficult. Kaiser constantly focused all his energy on protecting them.
Yansong Mountain’s expression was grim. This fighter from Xiaolin Martial Arts Hall was already exceptionally skilled. He’d only just begun his training, yet he could already use a Finger Technique. Yansong Mountain had never seen such a natural talent for fighting.
Moreover, the man’s awareness and intellect were both first-rate. Against any other opponent—even a Martial Artist new to Cross-Training—that throat lock would have, at the very least, blocked their airway and potentially knocked them unconscious, even if it didn’t shatter the bone.
His claim of a seventy percent chance of victory had been no exaggeration. It was just a sha he’d encountered such an abnormal opponent.
Weng Xiaolin frowned slightly. ’Zhao Xuanqi’s abilities can’t be limited to just this,’ he thought.
At this mont, in the ring.
Zhao Xuanqi was thrown across the mat by Kaiser’s brute force. But he seed prepared, nimbly twisting in mid-air to control his trajectory and landing lightly on the far side of the ring.
He glanced at his fingers, which were now slightly swollen. He had used his full strength, yet he still hadn’t managed to inflict critical damage.
However, this was all within his expectations. The series of attacks, including the final throat lock, were actually just probes to gauge the depths of Kaiser’s strength.
Now, he had a complete understanding of his opponent.
’His muscular power is monstrous, and his physical gifts are incredible,’ Zhao Xuanqi assessed. ’But in my eyes, his fighting technique doesn’t even qualify as third-rate.’
’At the very least, if it had been Zhou Ze back then, he would never have let my claw lock onto his throat.’
Then again, Kaiser didn’t really need to rely on technique. With those first two attributes alone, he was practically unbeatable.
A pity he had run into him.
Back then, the reason he’d said his chances of winning were only seventy percent was because he was worried Kaiser might be hiding his true fighting skills as a trump card, putting on an act of relying on pure brute force. If the man had possessed both physique and technique, his chances of winning would likely have been less than seventy percent.
But now, his estimated chance of victory was far, far greater than seventy percent.
"You damn monkey!!"
On the other side of the ring, five crimson gashes were clearly visible on Kaiser’s neck. Hot blood trickled down his chest, and the sharp, stinging pain ignited his nerves, fully unleashing his inner ferocity.
He had actually been injured by such a puny opponent. It was an utter disgrace, like a lion being bitten by a rabbit!
"Fine. I was careless," Kaiser roared. "This ti, I won’t give you any more chances. I’m going to crush you!!"
"Do you think that as long as your body is strong enough, you can conquer anything?"
Zhao Xuanqi stood his ground, completely ignoring the ferocity radiating from Kaiser.
"And why wouldn’t it be? We, the Angsa race of the Great Jili Empire, are born the most powerful people on earth! Take a good look! We have taller, stronger bodies than you yellow-skinned monkeys, appearances closer to the Deities. We are superior to you in our very bloodline!" Kaiser sneered.
"Is that so? Then for the past two thousand years, where was your race? Where was your great empire?"
"A tall, strong body has never represented anything. Back in the Wilderness, smaller humans were already hunting giant elephants and fierce tigers. The reason our species rules this planet has never been pure brute force."
"Wisdom is the fundantal reason humanity stands at the pinnacle of the world. How could re brute force ever hope to overco the infinite wisdom accumulated by the Martial Dao over countless eons?" Zhao Xuanqi said calmly.
"Are you joking? Wisdom? You’re going to defeat with wishful thinking?"
Kaiser looked as if he’d heard the biggest joke in the world.
"Didn’t you say you wanted a taste of the Martial Dao? Today, I’ll open your eyes."
"The Profound Technique of the Martial Dao is actually quite simple. First, it teaches how to turn weakness into strength—that is the Training thod. Second, it teaches how the weak can defeat the strong and the low can overco the high—that is the fighting style!"
Zhao Xuanqi once again assud the Tiger Form Boxing Stance.
"Enough of your mystical bullshit!!"
With a roar, Kaiser shot forward again. Bending his elbow into the Sword and Shield Formation, he charged Zhao Xuanqi like a giant shield.
Shield Strike!!
However, this ti, he saw Zhao Xuanqi standing perfectly still, showing no intention of dodging or defending himself.
’What’s this guy trying to do?’
Kaiser’s eyes narrowed. For so reason, a sudden sense of foreboding rose in his heart.
But he was imdiately ashad of that feeling, and his attack beca even more ferocious as he drove his elbow toward Zhao Xuanqi’s face.
The very instant his attack flew, Zhao Xuanqi moved.
His movent was simple. He just took a single step back.
WHOOSH!!
The massive elbow lood larger and larger in his vision, the wind howling in his ears.
But the incoming elbow stopped dead, barely an inch from the tip of his nose!
By a hair’s breadth!
’What... What’s going on?’
Kaiser’s pupils contracted violently. He didn’t even know why his elbow strike had stopped in that exact spot.
HYAH!
He exploded with attacks again—elbows, punches, even kicks—but Zhao Xuanqi dodged them all from inches away.
Zhao Xuanqi had completely seen through Kaiser’s unsophisticated fighting style!
"Had enough? Now, it’s my turn," Zhao Xuanqi said calmly.
SWISH!
Kaiser launched another elbow strike toward Zhao Xuanqi, and Zhao Xuanqi moved.
He dodged to the side!
Like a phantom, Zhao Xuanqi instantly flashed to Kaiser’s side, slightly behind him, his right hand forward and his left hand back.
His rear left hand curled into the shape of a Tiger Claw.
He swung the claw, his five fingers suddenly releasing Force!
Its target was precisely Kaiser’s elbow joint.
A sudden pinch, a flick of the wrist, and a sharp twist with the montum!
At the sa ti, Zhao Xuanqi’s feet were also in motion.
A stick, a lean, a trip, a pull!
At the sa ti, his forward right hand slapped hard against Kaiser’s back!
The movents seed complex, yet they were all perfectly tid and executed in the instant their bodies t.
It was a dazzling display of technique!
Using force to lead force, borrowing power to strike!
Kaiser suddenly felt a jolt like an electric shock in his elbow, followed by an intense numbness that spread through his entire arm. His muscles beca impossible to control, relaxing suddenly and involuntarily.
Muscles provide strong protection for the body’s joints. In a state of muscular fatigue, joints are most susceptible to injury.
For example, when soone is dead drunk, alcohol paralyzes their muscles, leaving them completely slack. Friends and family carrying them ho must be extrely careful to support the neck. Otherwise, with the muscles relaxed, even a slight Vibration could cause severe spinal injury!
Kaiser’s muscles were an extre example of this. His joints were nearly indestructible. With Zhao Xuanqi’s strength alone, he couldn’t have broken Kaiser’s arm even if Kaiser had simply held it out for him.
But the situation now was different.
The nerve in his elbow was violently stimulated, causing the arm muscles to go instantly limp and numb. This was the precise mont when the protection for Kaiser’s joints was at its weakest.
Add to that the impact from his own attack, the pulling and pushing from Zhao Xuanqi’s assault, and his own massive body weight.
A variety of conditions, each extrely difficult to achieve, converged to produce a qualitative change.
CRACK!
The crisp sound of a dislocating joint echoed from Kaiser on the ring. His entire arm was bent backward at an unnatural angle, looking grotesque and twisted.
SWISH!
The three martial arts hall masters shot to their feet in an instant, their eyes wide as they stared at the ring.
On the other side, Director Pete also shot to his feet, staring at the ring in disbelief. His expression was so dark it looked as if it could drip water.
