Yun Xiu was holding a pile of docunts, just coming down from upstairs, and was surprised to see Gu Zhiqi. “Gu Xiaoxi, how co you’re out so early today?”
Gu Zhiqi replied, “Suddenly rembered I had so things to do.”
Yun Xiu nodded lightly after hearing that. “I see. I was wondering why you ca out so early today.”
“Is Aunt and the others not at ho?” Gu Zhiqi asked, glancing upstairs.
Yun Xiu said, “They all went out shopping.”
Gu Zhiqi nodded after hearing this and chatted with Yun Xiu for a while before going upstairs.
Yun Xiu originally planned to take the docunts to the Trial Tower, but now that Gu Zhiqi ca back, Yun Xiu canceled his plan.
The whole house only had Gu Zhiqi alone, so it would be quite boring, and Yun Xiu decided to stay around.
About twenty minutes later, Gu Zhiqi ca downstairs.
Upon hearing the sound, Yun Xiu lifted his eyes from the docunts and looked at Gu Zhiqi, “Gu Xiaoxi, would you like so fruit?”
“No need.” Gu Zhiqi shook her head, then took a few steps forward to Yun Xiu and handed a ring to him.
Yun Xiu was stunned for a mont as he looked at the ring Gu Zhiqi handed over.
A ring?
Why is Gu Xiaoxi giving him a ring?
Before Yun Xiu could ask, Gu Zhiqi explained, “I’m leaving, and what’s inside is a gift for you all. Could you return the ring to Brother Ling for ? Thanks for taking care of these days.”
“Huh? You’re leaving? Now?” Yun Xiu’s first concern was that Gu Zhiqi was leaving.
Gu Zhiqi nodded, “Yeah.”
“Why are you leaving suddenly? Not staying for a few more days?” Yun Xiu tossed the docunts aside and looked at Gu Zhiqi.
Gu Zhiqi replied, “No.”
As she said this, Gu Zhiqi placed the ring on the table, “The nas are written on each gift box, please help pass them on, thanks.”
In the end, Yun Xiu couldn’t convince Gu Zhiqi to stay and could only watch as she left.
Even after she left, Yun Xiu still hadn’t fully processed it.
Actually, having only known the little girl for a few days, they weren’t exactly familiar with each other, so there wasn’t any reluctance in his heart about Gu Zhiqi leaving.
