The young man frowned and murmured to himself, "Could it be rats?"
Gu Zhiqi didn’t catch the young man’s last words but heard Qin Daimai’s piercing scream in her ear.

Soon, Qin Daimai cald down, but she still appeared to be in pain, clutching her head and curling up in the corner of the wardrobe.

Upon hearing this, Gu Zhiqi imdiately turned her head to look outside the wardrobe, just catching sight of the man moving in this direction when the wardrobe door suddenly opened.
