Now reading: Chapter 277: World Fusion from Sequence Highway Survival: I Upgrade Supplies in the Apocalypse, a Fantasy novel by 山海呼啸.

"Rumble~~~"

The trendous roar, heard by human ears, brought with it a faint, heart-wrenching sense of fear.

This was humanity's instinctive fear of nature, sothing etched into their very genes.

Even the superhumans fell silent at this mont.

Chen Ye slamd on the brakes, bringing the car to a stop on the small hillside. He got out and looked at the world-ending spectacle in the distance.

As for why he stopped.

Because this place and that apocalyptic scene of destruction had ford two extres.

The heavy rain was on the other side of the world, seemingly intent on drowning the entire heavens and earth.

But here.

The sky was already growing light, not a single drop of rain fell.

The air even felt slightly dry.

Therefore, Chen Ye and the others were at least safe for now.

Such a strange sight.

They had encountered it before.

The two sides were like two completely unrelated worlds.

Chen Ye suddenly recalled the theories about the apocalypse.

So said the apocalypse was caused by the fusion of two worlds, which gave rise to this end-of-days existence.

Looking at it now...

The disaster in the distance and the current tranquility really did resemble the boundary where two worlds were rging.

It seed as if the laws of the two worlds were attempting to fuse.

And the abnormal weather was precisely a minor side effect of this fusion between worlds.

If that was the case, then Chu Che's pathetic weather sensing ability could be explained.

The rules of two worlds rging were surely far more complex than simple weather changes, right?

Alright, this was just a guess.

But Captain Chu was really too useless this ti.

Didn't he say he could predict the weather within twenty-four hours?

This damn ability!!!

What use was he???

Everyone stopped their vehicles one after another. Survivors leaned out of their car windows, staring in shock at everything they saw before them.

That exaggerated Apocalyptic Fortress also slowly ca to a stop nearby.

Having received the all-clear notification, people walked over to the Apocalyptic Fortress's windows, their expressions mirroring the convoy survivors' astonishnt.

The rry Little Prince, which had always been rather inconspicuous, also stopped.

A thin, wooden-faced man wearing old glasses held together with yellow tape got out of the vehicle.

But at this mont, no one had the ti to pay them any mind. Everyone was watching the disaster unfolding as if in another world.

The torrential downpour over there ford a stark dividing line with this side.

Even the mud sliding down the mountain slopes only wreaked havoc within their own territory, not encroaching upon this side in the slightest.

That long-abandoned mountain path was completely severed at the edge of the rain's domain.

Earlier, Captain Chu Che had said there was only two kiloters left to find a way out.

What Chen Ye had assud was that after two kiloters, they would drive out of that mountain path and turn onto another safe main road.

But who could have imagined that after two kiloters, they did indeed leave that mountain path.

Yet now it felt like they had arrived in another world.

This place seed completely devoid of any traces of human activity, nor was there the long-abandoned main road. The vehicles could only drive forward across the grassland.

However, at this mont, no one had the mind to worry about such details. They were simply awestruck, gazing at everything before them.

That mountain path situated between the two great mountains was now completely buried under the mud and rocks that had slid down from both slopes.

That path, once built with imnse human effort and resources, had now vanished as if it had never existed.

The rumbling roar made people's eardrums ache.

Even as a superhuman himself, Chen Ye had to admit the aweso power of nature remained irresistible.

Chen Ye, a cigarette dangling from his lips, watched the landslides and earth-shattering scene in the distance, montarily at a loss for words.

What was even more bizarre was the heavy rain over there and the peace here, looking like two separate worlds.

A sliver of golden light appeared on the horizon, shining on Chen Ye's profile, making his sole remaining Blood Eye appear even more eerie.

"Squad Leader Chu, how did you know there were only two kiloters left just now?"

Chen Ye's voice was sowhat hoarse and weary.

Did this guy have so hidden abilities?

Could he sense maps? Like exploring in a ga?

Didn't he say he had never been on that mountain path before?

The suspicious Chen Ye couldn't help but think of many possibilities!

Even with a world-ending scene before his eyes.

Chen Ye still couldn't control his tendency to overthink.

It couldn't be helped;

being inherently suspicious was just who he was.

Chu Che rolled his eyes and said coldly, "I saw a road sign. It said 'Old Ox Mountain Ancient Path Exit - 2km'!"

Chen Ye: "..."

Damn, it was that simple...

But he still felt sowhat displeased with Captain Chu.

Chen Ye snorted coldly. "Hmph, Captain Chu's weather sensing ability is just average, huh? Such an obvious weather change, and Captain Chu didn't sense it in advance?"

"You're really not qualified to be captain!"

"What use are you!!!"

Chu Che gave Chen Ye a cold glance. "If it weren't for my weather sensing ability, you'd probably be buried by now!"

Having said that, he turned and left without giving Chen Ye a chance to retort.

Chen Ye: "..."

Last ti they exchanged barbs, Chen Ye rembered coming out on top.

This ti, Captain Chu had the upper hand.

Actually, Chen Ye had voiced Chu Che's own doubts.

Ever since advancing to Sequence 2, sensing the weather had beco as simple as drinking water or eating rice for Chu Che.

There had never been any major issues before.

At most, he might sense it would be sunny today, only for a light drizzle to fall.

The margin of error was only that slight.

Of course, if he sensed more frequently, even that error could be detected promptly.

But this ti, his weather sensing filled Chu Che with deep despair.

Almost every ti he sensed, the result differed greatly from the previous one.

To the point where the outco he got after each sensing was different.

Chu Che stared deeply at the disaster unfolding in that "other world" not far away.

It ford a stark contrast with the current peace on this side.

Chu Che's eyes flickered;

clearly, his inner thoughts were not as calm as his expression suggested.

The golden sunlight from the horizon shone on Captain Chu's face, his eyes as deep and unfathomable as the ocean.

Suddenly sensing the sunlight being blocked, he looked up to see Iron Lion's exaggerated physique.

What drew the most attention were this guy's two heads, and... and his four arms.

Chu Che could sense the intense pressure emanating from Iron Lion's current form.

"Iron Lion, you..."

Iron Lion gave a silly grin and scratched his head. "Hehe... Captain Chu, Yezi, I... I'm awake!"

Alright, that silly grin instantly dispelled the oppressive feeling from monts ago completely.

Chen Ye looked at Iron Lion's two heads and four arms.

"Tsk tsk... Iron Lion, you... really are sothing else."

It had to be said, Iron Lion was probably the first person to have his Sequence advancent cause such external manifestation of anomalies.

Having seen so many Sequence superhumans, Iron Lion was the only one whose anomalies manifested externally.

The Pink-haired Girl curled her index and middle fingers and knocked on Iron Lion's arm, which was as thick as her slender waist, exclaiming in admiration, "Iron Lion, this... is just too exaggerated."

"Any other sensations?"

"Other sensations? Hmm..."

Iron Lion lowered his head in thought. "Not really. Just feel stronger, faster, and more energetic."

Alright, everyone had so understanding of the Titan Sequence by now.

Advancing in this Sequence didn't grant many abilities;

most of it enhanced physical attributes.

But his enhancent of physical attributes was sowhat exaggerated, directly sprouting an extra pair of arms.

"Hmph, you country bumpkins, it's just the Titan Sequence's external manifestation and mutation. Haven't you even heard of that?"

A sharp, raspy voice instantly rang out.

That punchable tone hadn't softened one bit, even though they were safe now.
