"Mom, the reason business is so good today is because we’ve got all the factors—timing, location, and human harmony—lined up. The first two days of the National Day holiday weren’t great because the students were out traveling. Now the holiday is almost over, business will naturally pick up a bit."

"When school starts, everyone won’t have as much free ti, so they’ll go out less."

"Although our Xingfu Restaurant isn’t expensive, how many students would be willing to eat out for every al? Two or three tis a week to improve their als is already nice for most students. As long as we keep our daily revenue around three hundred, it’s enough; we shouldn’t set our expectations too high."

Lin Xiang didn’t want to dampen Mrs. Lin’s spirits, but if she doesn’t talk to Mrs. Lin about these things in advance, the drastic drop in business later would definitely cause psychological distress for Mrs. Lin.

So she had to prepare Mrs. Lin in advance.

"You’re making sense. Most students co from poor families; how could they eat out regularly? As long as daily business can maintain the level before the holiday, I’d be satisfied."

Mrs. Lin was quite receptive, "I’m going to sleep. You two should also get so rest."

Lin Xiang and Cheng Jinyun said goodnight and went upstairs. After a simple wash, they snuggled into their warm beds.

The next day, Xingfu Restaurant’s business was still going well.

An aunt ca to help again, and since everyone worked efficiently, Lin Xiang didn’t say much. At the end of the day, she still gave each person a fifty-cent reward.

Compared to her daily net inco, a fifty-cent reward for each person was quite low.

But Lin Xiang couldn’t give too much to avoid causing disputes over money later.

Back ho in the evening, after counting the money and Mrs. Lin went to bed, Cheng Jinyun said to Lin Xiang: "Today I went to the housing bureau and confird that those plots indeed belong to Mr. Wan, there’s no problem, so you can safely purchase them."

"I suggest you buy all three plots. Although Qi State is currently sowhat remote, I heard from the housing bureau manager that in a few years the governnt will undertake large-scale developnt there. The land bought now for six thousand will multiply in value."

Lin Xiang was surprised, "How did you get such news without any information source?"

"The leader at the housing bureau is Brother An’s uncle, the brother of our aunt."

Lin Xiang finally understood, "Once the agreed ti cos, I’ll complete the paperwork with Mr. Wan and buy all three plots."

"I checked out that mountain yesterday; raising twenty piglets there shouldn’t be a problem. We can also raise chickens, ducks, fish, and rabbits. Eggs and poultry can be sold for money, it’s practically a profitable venture."

The plan is beautiful, but the actual execution is a bit challenging, "But I know nothing about farming. Also, although Qi State isn’t too far, it’s not really close, and I’m already busy with classes, so I can’t keep an eye on the farm all the ti."

Seeing her frown, Cheng Jinyun suggested: "If we really want to run a farm, I’ll think of a way for you. I still have a few days of vacation; I can manage to set up the farm before returning to the military."

"Really?"

Cheng Jinyun raised an eyebrow, "When have I lied to you?"

"Never."

"By the way, the day I went to collect the TV, Aunt told she wants you to co over for a al again. If it’s inconvenient for you, I can decline on your behalf."

"It’s convenient, how could it not be?" Lin Xiang adored interacting with Aunt.

Cheng Jinyun nodded, "Then I’ll call Aunt tomorrow morning."

Early the next day, Lin Xiang and Cheng Jinyun went to the military compound.

"Aunt, is it too disruptive for us to co in the middle of the day?" Lin Xiang handed her carefully chosen gift to Aunt, expressing her concern.

Aunt took her arm and led her inside, "Disruptive? If I weren’t afraid of scaring you, I would’ve asked you to co in the morning!"

"Last ti you ca late, we barely talked. Today both Uncle and Brother An are ho, we can have a good chat."

Once Lin Xiang and Cheng Jinyun entered, they saw the father and son sitting on opposite ends of the sofa.

"Hello, Uncle. Hello, Brother An."

Cheng An nodded towards Lin Xiang and continued focusing on his math book.

Aunt, seeing how dismissive he was, snatched the book from him, "Didn’t I tell you? Put your books away today because Xiangxiang is visiting."

Cheng An rubbed his temples wearily, "Mom, I just thought of a solution for this problem. Let solve it first, then I’ll co out."

Though Aunt was bothered, she loved her child, so she reluctantly gave the book back to Cheng An, "Go solve it in your study, and co out once you’re done."

anwhile, Uncle had just hung up the phone.

"Later, there will be another guest coming."

Aunt frowned, "I specifically told you two this morning that Xiangxiang was visiting. You’re all too much!"

Uncle’s expression remained unchanged, "This guest isn’t a stranger; Lin knows them."

Lin Xiang pointed at her nose, "I know them?"

"They’re an old acquaintance of yours. You’ll know when you see them."

Uncle was deliberately mysterious, and Lin Xiang didn’t press further and went to chat with Aunt.

"I heard you’re planning to buy land in Qi State? Weren’t you going to buy a courtyard? Why are you buying barren land instead?"

Lin Xiang answered honestly: "The person selling the land, Ms. Wan, was the original landlord of Xingfu Restaurant. She approached a few days ago, so I went with her to take a look. Although Qi State is a bit far away, the land is decent. I’m thinking of setting up a farm on that mountain."

"Xingfu Restaurant’s business has basically stabilized now, and my brother ntioned the employees I hired are reliable, so I don’t need to worry much. According to my original plan, I should open another restaurant mid-next year."

"Restaurants and small eateries have different tiers and food requirents. If I have my own farm, beyond anything else, I can self-supply at, reduce costs, and ensure food safety. In the food business, safety and health are always the priority."

Lin Xiang laid out her plan clearly for Aunt.

Even though Aunt might later run her own business with a different focus, Lin Xiang wasn’t afraid to share her plans, hoping to gather valuable insights from Aunt.

After all, Lin Xiang was a moderately famous internet celebrity in her past life and wasn’t that skilled in business.
