The next rounds ca and went in a blur.

The crowd barely had ti to breathe between Damien's matches — each one more decisive than the last.

His next opponent, Goro "Iron Jaw" of the Ganesha Familia, was a mountain of muscle and raw aggression, his steel-coated skin said to shatter blades. Yet, against Damien… it ant nothing.

In a match that was expected to be a grueling brawl, Goro fell within a minute. Damien's movents were sharper, his aura darker, his blows carrying a silent rage.

That victory carried him into the semifinals, where he faced both Selka of the Miach Familia and Adi Verma of the Ganesha Familia — two well-respected warriors who had impressed every god in attendance.

But this Damien… was different.

The way he fought now wasn't just precise — it was ruthless. Focused.

He wasn't fighting to win anymore. He was fighting his way toward soone.

Toward Noga.

Selka's healing magic couldn't keep up with his relentless assault, and Adi's fad defense was torn apart like paper. Damien cut through both of them with frightening speed, ending the semifinal in re monts — too quickly for even Ganesha to react with comntary.

As Damien walked out of the arena, his expression was cold. Detached.

He didn't raise his arms in victory. He didn't bask in the crowd's cheers.

He simply turned toward the opposite end of the Colosseum — where Noga Was

....

anwhile, in Bracket B, Noga continued his brutal march toward the finals.

Every opponent he faced left the arena broken — literally. Bones snapped, limbs dislocated, pride shattered. It beca a sick routine.

Noga would smirk. The fight would start. And then — crack.

Again and again, the healers had to rush in before the match could even conclude. Ganesha himself was forced to call early stops, invoking divine authority to prevent deaths.

Still, the damage was done.

By the ti Noga finished his last semifinal match, the once roaring crowd had gone quiet — not out of boredom, but fear.

Even the gods whispered uneasily among themselves.

And so, the brackets were set.

The Final Match — Damien Ardent vs. Noga of Freya Familia.

It was a battle everyone anticipated… and yet dreaded.

Because word had spread. Not rumor — confirmation.

Noga wasn't just a Level 3 adventurer. He was a Level 3 on the verge of ascending to Level 4 — his growth already complete. All that remained was Freya's blessing to finalize it.

But she had refused.

She'd sent him into this tournant as he was — a monster trapped in human form, just to watch the world tremble before her champion.

The tension in Orario reached its peak.

The crowd murmured in awe and terror. So prayed for Damien. Others pitied him.

But for Damien himself? There was no fear.

Only that sa silent fury burning behind his eyes — the kind that no god's power could extinguish.

The final battle was coming.

...

"Angering him like that? Sly of you, Freya… very sly…" said Loki, her voice half amusent, half genuine concern as she crossed her legs and leaned back in her seat atop the viewing platform. Her crimson eyes reflected the enormous magical screen floating before the gods, the nas glowing bright in the center: Damien vs Noga. "Nothing brings out full potential like rage. But you may have just lost your chance at getting him forever."

Freya, resting her chin on one hand, didn't even glance at Loki. Her silver eyes shimred with quiet confidence. "That would be true… if he achieves his vengeance," she murmured, her tone like honey laced with poison. "But that won't happen. He will fail… just as all before him did. And when he breaks, he will either crumble into nothing… or seek power. The kind only I can give him."

Loki frowned. "Tch… playing dangerous gas again, aren't you?"

Freya smiled faintly. "It's the only kind worth playing."

"Ahm… I'm annoyed," huffed Hestia from the seats behind them, resting her chin on her hands and glaring down toward the arena. "I need a chance to talk to him—to get him to join ! Tsk… but Ganesha wouldn't allow gods near adventurers until the end of the tournant…" She puffed her cheeks, looking like a frustrated child, her twin tails bobbing slightly.

Hephaestus gave a small snort. "You really think he'd choose you? Do you even have sothing to offer him?"

"I offer him a good back rub when he cos ho!" Hestia shot back proudly, puffing her chest. "That should be enough, right?"

Hephaestus rolled her eye. "You're ridiculous."

Then Hestia's tone softened, curiosity in her eyes. "How's your child, by the way?"

Hephaestus exhaled, gaze dropping slightly. "He's all right. Bruised pride more than body… but he's strong-willed. He'll bounce back." Her single eye hardened with a tallic gleam. "But what Freya allowed in that ring… was monstrous. That sadist nearly crippled Welf for life. I'll make sure Freya pays for that sohow—perhaps through her coin purse."

Loki smirked. "Raising your weapon prices again, eh?"

Hephaestus simply folded her arms. "Fair trade for blood."

anwhile, deep beneath the arena, the infirmary was quiet except for the faint hum of magic tools. Damien stood beside a cot where Welf lay, his arm wrapped tightly in a brace, yet his face still carried a stubborn smile.

"You all right?" Damien asked softly.

"I'm not mad, you know," said Welf, wincing slightly as he adjusted himself. "I think I did really well, reaching that far… and losing to soone like him? A level four—right?"

Damien nodded silently.

Welf gave a small laugh. "Yeah… I'll beat him soday. I swear it. I'll keep getting stronger until I can forge a sword sharp enough to cut through that smug bastard's grin."

A small smile tugged at Damien's lips. "Good. But you don't have to focus on him. I'll handle it."

At that mont, the loudspeaker echoed across the entire complex—

"Final match! Damien The Free Adventurer Familia versus Noga of Freya Familia! Comncing in five minutes!"

Damien turned to leave, but before he could reach the door, Welf's voice called after him.

"Hey, Damien…"

He stopped and glanced back. "Yeah?"

"I know people keep telling you to quit, and that pisses you off… but I won't. I won't even ask you to win." Welf's grin was tired but genuine. "Just make sure to give him hell, all right, friend?"

For a long second, Damien said nothing. Then a faint, dangerous smirk crept across his face.

"All right, friend… for you."

And as he walked out, the light from the arena above cast his shadow long and dark across the infirmary floor—like a specter heading toward war.
