102: Chapter 102: History (Extra for alliance leader Dong You Ling Yu) (3rd update) 102: Chapter 102: History (Extra for alliance leader Dong You Ling Yu) (3rd update) The statue depicted a handso young man; the sculptor’s skill was extrely advanced, as he had not only carved the figure’s face to be as lifelike as possible but had also captured his extraordinary deanor.

Su Ming and his peers looked at these three huge statues; everyone tacitly refrained from asking questions.

Because that would touch upon Imperial Court Academy’s dark history, anyone who had even a slight understanding of the academy knew what was up.

These three statues were of the founding principals of Imperial Court Academy, but due to the later great schism, these two principals defected and took a large number of teachers with them to establish new Imperial Court Academies in the Dark Star Empire and the “Heavenly Start-up Theocratic Nation.” Thus, their statues were smashed.

Of course, aside from these central three statues, there were many lifelike miniature statues encircling the square, along with an erected stone wall.

At this ti, the open square was bustling with activity, with a large number of students and teachers gathered there.

Teacher after teacher led their class’s students in front of the three statues, stepping onto the terraced iron fra and forming neat queues for photos.

A long-haired, very artistic male teacher, holding a cara, shouted,

“Third row, count from the left, the sixth student, switch places with the one in front, don’t block faces…”

“Very good, just like that!”

“Keep a good expression!”

Click!

With the flash going off, the photography teacher waved his hand, very satisfied.

“Next class!”

“Danels, we’re here!”

Mia, completely drunk, stepped forward, shouting cheerfully.

For a mont, all the teachers and students in the square turned their attention to Mia and Su Ming’s group.

Danels glanced at the queue-cutting Mia and sighed helplessly.

To prevent her drunken antics, he could only wave his hand and say,

“Co on, co on.”

As soon as Mia saw Danels agree, she happily waved to Su Ming.

“Su Ming, co over!”

Su Ming walked over to Mia, feeling resigned.

“Teacher?”

“Get them on the terraced iron fra and line them up!”

Mia wasted no ti in bossing Su Ming around.

Su Ming then went forward to arrange for his classmates to start queuing.

A few minutes later, the entire class was lined up.

Su Ming walked over to Mia to report.

“All set, Teacher.”

“Nicely done.”

Mia replied with a laugh.

Just as Su Ming turned to rejoin the queue on the iron fra, Mia suddenly hooked her arm around his neck, pressing her entire body intimately against his.

Su Ming imdiately felt a soft touch and a faint scent of bellflowers, which left him montarily stunned.

Mia happily hooked her arm around Su Ming’s neck and faced Daniel, the photography teacher’s cara, flashing a ‘V’ sign and shouting,

“Quick, take it, yay!”

Click!

Daniel promptly pressed the shutter, and with that, the mont was captured forever.

“All done!”

Daniel announced to Mia and the others.

“Okay, that’s a wrap!”

Mia, still arm-in-arm with Su Ming, declared joyfully to everyone.

“Teacher, can you let go now?”

Su Ming asked with a resigned look.

“Haha, the teacher here just had too much to drink, legs are a bit wobbly, that’s all.”

Mia replied as she let go, with no sense of personal boundaries.

“Hey!

We co to the school to register, so why is the first order of business changing into uniforms and taking pictures?

What’s the point of this?

Isn’t this normally sothing we do at graduation?”

Su Ming sighed, then asked curiously.

Rhein and the others, upon hearing Su Ming’s question, also looked towards Mia, equally puzzled.

“Because this is for taking your morial photos!”

Mia blurted out without even thinking about it.

Su Ming and the others were startled by Mia’s words and said in disbelief,

“morial photos?”

“Yeah, co on, don’t worry about it, it’s no big deal!”

Mia said with a laugh.

Hearing this, Su Ming was powerless to retort.

What do you an it’s no big deal?

Aren’t morial photos a significant matter?

But they could only helplessly accept their fate, knowing full well that with this teacher, they weren’t going to get any detailed explanation, so they could only ask,

“So, teacher, where are we going next?”

“Going where?

The photo shoot is over, and I’m off work, do whatever you want.”

Mia said cheerily.

“But teacher, then who’s going to continue the tour with us?”

Angel and so others asked, a bit at a loss.

After other classes finished taking photos, their teachers would continue the tour and introduce the place to them.

“The class leader will lead!”

Mia said without thinking.

“Class leader?

Who?

Do we even have a class leader?”

Rhein asked grimly.

The other classmates were also confused.

When did their class get a class leader?

The teacher couldn’t possibly be drunk, could she?

“Him!”

Mia pointed directly at Su Ming.

“?”

Su Ming was also shocked, his expression priceless.

“That’s right, you are the class leader, it’s in your hands!”

Mia slapped Su Ming’s shoulder heavily and spoke very casually.

Su Ming was truly at a loss for words.

From the beginning, when had he ever said he wanted to be the class leader?

He had only helped her take the roll call.

“Teacher, this is too arbitrary, can’t we choose soone else?”

“That’s decided then, it’s up to you, I’m off.”

Mia didn’t care what Su Ming said and staggered away.

Leaving Su Ming standing there in disarray, he was speechless.

He had thought Teacher Tang Yan was unreliable enough.

And yet, here he was at Imperial Court Academy, facing an even more unreliable teacher!

At this ti, Rhein and the others looked towards Su Ming, and in his heart, ten thousand alpacas ran wild.

It was his first ti at Imperial Court Academy, and he knew nothing, utterly unable to lead.

However, Su Ming quickly adjusted his emotions and looked around.

He then saw the students from cha 3rd Class finishing their photo session with a burly teacher, with a chiseled face, resolute expression, and sharp eyes.

He calmly said to everyone,

“Everybody, follow !”

“Okay!”

Rhein and others nodded in agreent.

Although Su Ming’s class was a regular one, the students accepted into Imperial Court Academy were generally outstanding, and all had high standards.

As such, even though Su Ming was hastily appointed by Mia, no one objected or showed any lack of cooperation.

Su Ming led his classmates, following behind cha 3rd Class.

At that mont, the burly teacher said gravely to the students,

“Do you know why everyone’s photos are taken on the first day of school?”

“Not sure, Professor Alfam.”

“This photo isn’t taken casually; it holds a special significance.

All your senior brothers and sisters had one taken when they enrolled.

If you sacrifice yourselves in the future, you will be marked on the photo.

Once the whole class has sacrificed, congratulations, you will make it onto the academy’s honor wall.

I’m taking you to see the honor wall now.”

Alfam led the students to a stone wall erected beside the square, where several yellowed photos were affixed.
