Farren anxiously said to Gakels.
"Gakels, what are you pacing back and forth for, hurry up and make a decision!"
"What other decision can there be? Of course, it’s reinforcent."
"How to reinforce? My troops are all over at the Danube Star Sea."
"Let think."
Gakels said with a headache.
Okens coughed and suggested to Gakels.
"Lord City Master, I think Su Ming can lead a team for reinforcent."
Su Ming’s eyes widened as he looked at Okens.
Okens returned Su Ming’s gaze with a look that said no need for thanks.
At this mont, Gakels’ expression changed, then he said to Su Ming.
"Su Ming, you don’t need to worry about the city examination matter anymore, I will let Okens handle it. The Federation is currently in a crisis, I know you’re not fully recovered, but there’s no choice now, there’s really no manpower. I order you to lead the group to support the Abyss of Descent."
"Yes."
Su Ming replied solemnly.
Vice City Lord Okens said to Gakels.
"Lord Gakels, Su Ming always handles matters steadily, entrusting this to him will surely be fine. But I fear if any changes occur, he might find it hard to cope, after all, his strength is still a bit lacking, his foundation isn’t strong enough."
Su Ming was sowhat surprised at Okens’ words, but he didn’t speak, rely stood quietly.
Gakels pondered for a mont before speaking.
"Su Ming, for this operation! Bring along the V Generation Biological cha·Ilyas, and I’ve also assigned Celeste to you."
Hearing this, Su Ming was also quite surprised and asked.
"Lord City Master, isn’t the Federation dealing with the chanical Sect, is it alright to assign Celeste to now?"
"You don’t need to worry about that, it’s not like the Federation only has one Light Computer."
Gakels calmly replied.
"Understood."
Su Ming responded with a slight stir in his heart, as he had guessed, the Federation had developed a new artificial intelligence Light Computer.
"Lord City Master, although this Biological cha is strong, it can’t be used for long-term combat."
Okens imdiately said.
"I understand, the issue is there’s no ready-made V Generation Pure chanical cha for him, his V Generation cha is still in the queue. The one being fast-tracked is Admiral Xinlad’s, whose cha was destroyed, and I’m planning to have him lead a team to support the wormhole space-ti, so we can’t just give that to Su Ming."
Gakels answered with a headache.
"Lord City Master is right, then what should we do? Su Ming is still piloting a Level 4 Battleship."
Okens asked helplessly.
Upon hearing this, Gakels’ expression shifted, then he said to Su Ming.
"Su Ming, I’ll allocate a brand new Level 5 Battleship and 10 Fourth Generation cha·Shadow Slayer units for you, consider it a reward for this reinforcent!"
"Thank you, Lord Gakels. However, may I make a small request?"
Su Ming respectfully said to Lord City Master Gakels.
"Speak!"
"I want to transfer soone from the Second Legion."
"Who?"
"Colonel Onite, who specializes in logistics and transportation, I’m short on manpower in that area."
"Alright!"
Gakels imdiately agreed upon knowing Su Ming was transferring a logistics officer.
At this, Okens quickly inquired.
"Lord Gakels, what about over at the Lost Star Sea?"
"Let think."
Gakels, for the mont, couldn’t think of a suitable candidate.
Upon hearing this, Su Ming proactively said.
"Lord Gakels, I have a candidate I could recomnd."
"Speak."
Gakels and others turned their attention to Su Ming.
"I think it would be wise to release Commander Luo Kui and have him lead a team for reinforcent! Rather than have him face trial, let him atone for his sins through rit, it’s a ti when we need manpower."
Su Ming suggested seriously.
Farren, upon hearing Su Ming’s words, was montarily taken aback. He hadn’t expected Su Ming to plead on behalf of his son.
"I think this plan could work."
Okens’ eyes brightened, quickly affirming his agreent.
Lord Farren stayed here the entire ti because, frankly, it was for Luo Kui.
Recently, in their work, no one dared to provoke Farren, fearing they’d get a scolding.
Gakels furrowed his brows tightly, feeling extrely conflicted.
At this ti, Farren impatiently said.
"Gakels, just give a straightforward answer! If you agree, I’ll cover this reinforcent operation to the Lost Star Sea!"
"Alright!"
Seeing this, Gakels agreed.
Once the matter was settled, Su Ming respectfully said.
"Lord Gakels, I’ll take my leave then."
"Go on!"
Gakels waved his hand in response.
Su Ming then turned and left the office.
Seeing this, Okens said to Gakels.
"Lord Gakels, shall I take my leave as well?"
"Okens, listen up. I don’t care for what reasons those delinquent students joined the chanical Sect. Once you find out, handle it all decisively, make no exceptions. You understand what I an, right?"
Gakels’ words carried a chilling intent to kill.
"Rest assured, my lord, I’ll mobilize the Night Owl to handle it."
Okens replied solemnly.
"Go on!"
Upon hearing this, Gakels raised his hand and waved.
Vice City Lord Okens then respectfully withdrew.
...
In the long corridor.
Su Ming sighed as he walked towards the distant elevator.
The Federation’s current situation was unbelievably dire; it was hard to find peace even for a few days.
Just as he was about to reach the elevator, a rush of footsteps ca from behind, followed by a voice calling out.
