Simo shivered all over, quickly addressing Su Ming.
Upon hearing this, Su Ming stood up and followed Simo and the others out of the interrogation room.
They walked down the corridor towards its depths.
Soon they arrived outside a transparent interrogation room; its walls were a special kind of glass, allowing those outside to clearly see inside, but preventing those inside from seeing out.
Outside the interrogation room, there was a group of Night Owl staff responsible for overseeing the interrogation.
These staff mbers, upon seeing Simo, hurriedly stood up to greet him.
"Lord Simo!"
"Dismissed."
Simo waved his hand, ordering them all to leave.
"Yes!"
The Night Owl staff quickly departed.
Su Ming approached the glass wall and looked inside.
In the cold interrogation room, Lin Chuyu was wearing a major’s military uniform, sitting in the interrogation chair, her face pale and bloodless.
In front of Lin Chuyu, sitting at the interrogation table, were two won dressed in Night Owl departnt uniforms.
On the left, the interrogation officer Ye Yan had short hair cropped at the ears, her eyes sharp and expression harsh.
On the right, the interrogation officer Ao Zhen was plump, with a fierce expression.
"Lin Chuyu, I’ll ask you again, did you help An Ruoxue infiltrate the Special Warfare Departnt?"
"No, she got in by herself, you can check the relevant records."
Lin Chuyu shook her head and replied.

Ye Yan suddenly slamd the interrogation table, standing up, raising her head to glare at Lin Chuyu, speaking viciously.
"You’re still not cooperating honestly, looks like we’ll have to starve you for a few more days."
"I’m speaking the truth."
Lin Chuyu responded, feeling downcast.
"Lin Chuyu, don’t think that just because you’re pretty and have chard a group of officers, they’ll co to save you, don’t dream! This is the Night Owl departnt, no one walks out of here, give up that idea and cooperate! Don’t wait until we find evidence and put you through every punishnt; then it’ll be too late to regret!"
Ao Zhen warned Lin Chuyu.
Since they hadn’t found concrete evidence and Lin Chuyu was a legitimate Federation officer, they couldn’t directly use torture.
"I’ve confessed everything; I really don’t know anything else."
Lin Chuyu softly bit her lip as she replied.
Ao Zhen turned to Ye Yan and said.
"This one’s got a tight mouth!"
"For people with tight mouths like this, just a little bit of torture and she’ll spill everything!"
Ye Yan’s patience ran thin; she wasn’t in the mood to drag this out with Lin Chuyu.
She was prepared to break the rules and resort to torture first.
"Okay!"
Ao Zhen stood up in agreent.
Just as they were about to make a move, the interrogation room door suddenly opened, and Su Ming walked in, coldly asking.
"What are you planning to do?"
Lin Chuyu was startled upon hearing the voice, slowly raising her head to look at Su Ming, her eyes misting over.
At this mont, Ye Yan and Ao Zhen turned to look at Su Ming, and seeing he wasn’t wearing a Night Owl uniform, angrily questioned.
"Who are you? Who let you in?"
"I’m her associate."
Su Ming replied with a smile to Ye Yan and Ao Zhen.
"Such audacity!"
Ye Yan imdiately got angry, she hadn’t seen soone so brazen in years.
Cough cough~
A coughing sound rang out, and Simo walked in.
Seeing Simo, Ye Yan and Ao Zhen were shocked, quickly standing to greet him.
"Lord Simo!"
"Ye Yan, both of you listen up, this gentleman is General Su Ming, be respectful!"
Simo reprimanded them sternly.
Ye Yan and Ao Zhen were taken aback, reluctantly replying.
"Yes."
At this mont, Su Ming glanced at Lin Chuyu, then spoke.
"Simo, your people seem to be acting recklessly, are they planning to coerce a confession?"

Su Ming raised his hand to interrupt Simo, walking step by step towards Ye Yan and Ao Zhen, an invisible pressure causing them to retreat in fear.
"Wh-what are you doing?"
"Nothing much, Simo, perhaps I should find an opportunity to report your interrogation thods to Lord Gakels or Lord Fidian?"
Su Ming spoke blandly.
Ye Yan and Ao Zhen were terrified by Su Ming’s words.
Simo quickly smiled apologetically and said.
"Lord Su Ming, no need to trouble the lords over this small matter, leave it to , I’ll ensure a strict punishnt afterwards."
"Alright."
Su Ming didn’t continue to press.
Simo breathed a sigh of relief, then turned to Ye Yan and Ao Zhen, suppressing his anger.
"Did you find anything out?"
"No."
Ye Yan replied in fear.
"If there’s nothing, then release her."
Simo’s expression changed, then he issued the order.
Ye Yan and Ao Zhen were stunned by Simo’s words; was he really going to release Lin Chuyu, a major suspect?
Just as they wanted to say sothing, Simo shot them a glare.
Ye Yan and Ao Zhen were imdiately frightened into swallowing their words.
Simo knew Lin Chuyu was highly suspect, but Su Ming was even harder to deal with.
Unexpectedly, Su Ming spoke calmly.
"There’s no need."
"Huh?"
