As Long Bai and the others left the lab and entered the long corridor.
All the barricaded doors in the corridor were down, and leading Guard Captain Kang Jia stepped forward, opening them with the ergency switch.
As they continued forward and turned into another corridor.
Long Bai looked at the eerily silent passage ahead and paused his steps.
Blakes and the others, seeing Long Bai stop, halted as well, all eyes on Long Bai.
Long Bai’s eyes flickered, then he turned and said coldly.
"Retreat, drop and lock all gates along the way!"
"Yes!"
Captain Kang Jia and the others imdiately responded.
Long Bai then led everyone back into the lab.
Dr. Martin Di asked in great confusion.
"Lord Long Bai, why are we retreating instead of leaving quickly?"
"It’s not safe outside. If I’m not mistaken, we’ve been targeted."
Long Bai said coldly.
"Ah, then what now?"
Dr. Martin Di and others asked in panic.
"Stay here and await rescue, command battles via closed-circuit calls, and request external assistance."
