Capítulo 1293: Chapter 467: Peace Talks III (Five-in-One) (Part 3)
“I know, Aresi. Have Kirdit and the others rest up quickly, the show is about to begin.”
Edrig revealed a slight smile as he spoke.
“My lord, is this appropriate? What about Archbishop Deshier?”
“What’s inappropriate about it? Do I need his approval for what I want to do?”
“Understood!”
Aresi imdiately responded respectfully.
…
————————-
Inside the command room at the Nether Moon Star Defense Headquarters.
Commander Fulaya sat in the command chair, flipping through the World Daily, her aged face moved slightly as she sighed.
“Alas.”
“Commander, what’s wrong? Wasn’t the crisis at the Tidal Star Sea alleviated?”
Gwen brought over a cup of tea and handed it to Commander Fulaya, asking in confusion.
“Yes, it was alleviated, but no sooner does one wave subside when another rises. See for yourself.”
After taking the tea, Commander Fulaya handed the newspaper to Gwen.
Gwen glanced at the newspaper, wearing a shocked expression before speaking in astonishnt.
“The Thirteenth Legion is too much, demanding 20 trillion Federation Coins from us, or they won’t help fight.”
“Do you have a solution?”
Fulaya sipped the hot tea, replying wearily.
After hearing Fulaya’s words, Gwen fell silent.
At this mont, the scanning device popped up with a gray warning box.
“Warning: Unidentified flying device approaching!”
The operator imdiately reported to Fulaya.
“Activate the optical device to capture the image.”
A surge of inexplicable unease rose in Fulaya’s heart, but she suppressed the emotion and spoke.
“Understood!”
The operator imdiately responded.
Swish!
The optical image appeared instantly.
A colossal chanical device, 300 kiloters long and rectangular in shape, with flas jetting from its tail, appeared in the distant starry sky. Two Level 5 Battleships adorned with the Rain Capital insignia escorted the chanical device.
“Commander, aren’t those our ships?”
Gwen asked in astonishnt.
At that mont, Fulaya stood up, looking sowhat flustered, and spoke.
“Quick, enlarge the image!”
“Understood!”
Gwen imdiately enlarged the image.
The massive 300-kiloter-long rectangular chanical device was seen at the front, carrying a V Generation Pure chanical cha·Ice Demon, standing 60 ters tall, constructed entirely of ice-blue tal, intricately covered with fine ice marks, with an ice-blue circular disc embedded in the chest, emitting a radiant glow. It bore six floating ice blades mounted at the rear shoulders and two pairs of blue Light Wings embedded in the back. Sharp tal claws gripped two super particle light blades, with the shoulders painted with a red sun, a black sun, twelve red moons, fourteen black moons, and nurous stars.
“Father.”
Fulaya gazed at the V Generation cha·Ice Demon, her aged face showing an expression of disbelief.
“Lord Morigko!”
Gwen, too, was surprised, raising a hand to cover her mouth, unable to utter a word in shock.
Morigko, retired General of the Federation, and also Commander Fulaya’s father, had long been reclusive in the Rain Capital, overseeing its security.
Just then, a ssage popped up on the operation screen, and the operator reported in astonishnt.
“Commander Fulaya, they are requesting us to open the defense line exit, saying they need to pass through.”
Fulaya’s expression changed rapidly, then she issued an order.
“Transmit my command to open the defense line exit for them to pass, while initiating a Level 1 martial law, sealing all defense line and cross-border communication channels.”
“Understood!”
Gwen replied solemnly.
As the order was given, the entire Nether Moon Defense Line sprang into action.
One by one, special chanical shielding devices were activated, while all entrances and exits of the defense line were closed, leaving only the largest exit for Morigko and the others to pass through.
…
————————–
Five days later.
Inside the Sea God City·Cetery.
Alicia stood alone in front of Annabeth’s tombstone, holding a bouquet of white flowers.
A gentle breeze blew by, stirring Alicia’s hair.
Even though Annabeth’s remains had been sent back to the Rain Capital, there was still a morial tomb within the Sea God Fortress, holding her clothing and belongings from her lifeti.
Alicia bowed to the tombstone, placing the flowers on it, remaining silent throughout.
At this mont, Bi Han approached, respectfully speaking to Alicia.
“Lord Alicia, the ti is almost up.”
“I know.”
Alicia replied coldly, then turned and left.
As Alicia exited the cetery, Fenny, Alula, and the others stood nacingly at the entrance, waiting.
“City Lord Alicia.”
Fenny and the others spoke in unison.
“Let’s go!”
City Lord Alicia said to the crowd.
“Understood!”
Fenny and the others followed Alicia away.
…
In the starry sky.
The Sea God Fortress opened one large exit after another, as the Star Destroyer·Thunder Extre and other ships began leaving the fortress.
Over an hour later, all ships inside the fortress had departed.
At this mont, the Sea God Fortress lifted its disguise, leading a vast fleet towards the starry sky ahead.
This mont ignited the network of the Tidal Star Sea, with many from Neutral Countries leaving comnts.
“The Rain Capital and Heavenly Revelation have started peace talks, and the Sea God Fortress has set out.”
“Where are the talks being held? I heard it’s in the outer space of the Sea Tide Kingdom.”
“That’s great! If they can negotiate a truce, we won’t have to live in fear anymore!”
“Indeed!”
“How can this be? What about our Kingdom in the peace talks? Will Heavenly Revelation return what’s ours?”
“What are you daydreaming about? In these negotiations, even the Rain Capital will have to bleed. Do you think Heavenly Revelation will give back what they’ve taken? What are you thinking?”
…
Countless people are paying attention to these negotiations.
