Inside the Cateni Base City·City Lord's Mansion Hall.
A middle-aged man with a fat head and oily ears, wearing only triangle shorts, with white and tender skin, and a beer belly, called out with a sleazy smile, his eyes covered with a scarf, his hands outstretched.
"Little darling, where are you?"
At this mont, a beautiful woman in a cool gauze dress, with a stunning figure and a charming face, responded with a giggle.
"Master, we are here, co catch us!"
"Don't run, I'm coming to catch you."
The man imdiately lunges at the woman.
"Didn't catch you!"
The woman dodged playfully.
"You naughty girls, when I catch you, I'll deal with you one by one."
The man replied with a chuckle.
At this mont, a man wearing a white robe, with a twirled beard and graying temples, rushed over, shouting.
"Lord Ankore!"
Ankore imdiately stopped, took off the scarf covering his eyes, and said sowhat disappointedly.
"Duluke, can't you see I'm having fun?"
"Master, sothing happened."
"What could possibly go wrong?"
"Those lowlifes from the underground city have rebelled."
Duluke reported with an anxious expression.
"I thought it was sothing serious, isn't it just another rebellion? It's not the first ti, haven't they often rebelled before?"
"No, Master, this ti it's huge."
"Since when was it not huge before?"
Ankore replied nonchalantly.
Duluke was stunned by Ankore's words, then hesitantly asked.
"Master, how should we handle this?"
"How else? The usual routine, send soone to contact the leaders, offer them so benefits, and have them work for ."
Ankore replied with a yawn.
"What if they're not satisfied and make exorbitant demands?"
Duluke hesitated and asked.
"Then agree to them, whatever conditions they set, agree unconditionally."
Ankore replied with a smile.
"Master, are you serious?"
Duluke was dumbfounded.
"You don't understand, if those leader lowlifes aren't greedy and know their place, then everyone's happy, they replace the overthrown losers and work for us! If they're ambitious, even better, agree to their demands, lure them all in and eliminate them, it's simple and saves ti!"
Ankore said with a grin.
"Master, you're wise, I'll arrange it right away!"
Duluke complinted with a smile.
"Go ahead!"
Ankore replied, pleased.

Cateni Underground District.
Su Ming quietly watched as Jieva and the others attended to the wounded. Of course, what they called treatnt was just simple wound dressing, with no dications, survival was left to fate.
At this mont, Su Ming saw a young man in tattered clothes, with an excited expression, running up to Wicket, speaking to him.
After hearing the young man's words, Wicket walked over to Su Ming.
He quickly reached Su Ming, speaking respectfully.
"Brother Su!"
"What's up?"
"I just got news, other living areas have won too. After a brief rest, we're heading to the surface. Brother Su, do you want to join us?"
"Wicket, let give you so advice, the surface and underground are different. Once you go up, you have no chance. If they deploy a Third Generation cha, it's a one-sided slaughter, and they might even have Fourth Generation chas."
Su Ming reminded with a furrowed brow.
"Brother Su, I know you're looking out for us, but if we don't resist, our children, families, and companions will live eternally underground in darkness, exploited like slaves. As long as there's a shred of hope, even at the cost of our lives, we must strive for it."
Wicket spoke to Su Ming.
"Alright."
Su Ming sighed deeply.
At this mont, Jieva ran over, panting, speaking to Wicket.
"Brother Wicket, an envoy has co down from above, requesting to see you by na."
"Those nobles finally sending soone to talk, it's utterly ironic. We plead to them, and they never listened before."
Wicket said with disdain.
"Brother, are you going to see him?"
Jieva and the others hesitated in asking.
"Yes, let him co. I want to hear what he has to say."
Wicket snorted coldly.
Su Ming was quite interested as well; he was curious about what the envoy would say.
Soon, a shifty-looking middle-aged man, dressed in clean clothes, was brought over.
"You must be Lord Wicket, I am Quill, the negotiator sent by Lord Ankore."
"What do you want from ?"
Wicket replied coldly.
"Lord Wicket, don't misunderstand! I'm not here to hunt you down, but to negotiate peace. Tell what you want."
"Tell you, can you represent Lord Ankore?"
"Absolutely."
Quill replied with a grin.
"We want freedom, we want human rights, we want to live. Can Ankore agree to that?"
Wicket said to Quill.
"Sir, what you're asking for is a bit abstract, it'd be better to ask for sothing tangible. For instance, you could manage this area and receive a handso salary each month, never worrying about hunger, and freely entering and exiting the underground city."
Quill suggested to Wicket.
Su Ming, listening to Quill, showed a peculiar expression. This guy was clearly trying to bribe Wicket.
If Wicket agreed, he could achieve a class leap and live comfortably.
But it also ant selling out everyone behind him.
Wicket, hearing Quill, angrily said.
"Do you think I'm that selfish? I tell you, I'm not asking for these things. I'm asking for the right for everyone to live, to no longer be oppressed."
"Fine, no problem!"
Quill quickly agreed.
"No problem?"
Wicket and the others were stunned.
"Yes, the Lord has spoken, everything is negotiable! You don't want to pay taxes? No problem. You don't want to work tirelessly? No problem. You want food, water, dicine, it can be arranged."
Quill spoke like a philanthropist.
"Are you serious?"
Wicket and the others were montarily baffled, asking warily.
"Absolutely, you can bring people up and speak with the City Lord directly."
Quill said to Wicket.
"Fine, I will bring people up."
Wicket nodded in affirmation.
"Then I will go back to report to the City Lord now."
Quill turned and left with a smile.
Watching Quill's departing figure, Su Ming spoke to Wicket.
"Wicket, they're deceiving you, they'll never truly agree to those terms, don't go, it's likely a trap."
"I know, but even so, we must fight for it!"
Wicket said with determined eyes, placing a firm hand on Su Ming's shoulder.
Then Wicket walked past Su Ming to stand before the crowd.
All the people focused their eyes on Wicket, looking at their chosen leader.
With a solemn expression, Wicket addressed everyone.
"Everyone, I, Wicket, will not abandon my beliefs, nor will I enjoy this glory alone. Are you willing to follow , face the City Lord, and fight for a bright future?"
"We are willing!"
"We are willing!"
...
Countless people responded excitedly.
Watching this scene, Su Ming was also deeply moved. Perhaps real n always pursue a grand finale.
