"So, are you satisfied with this ti?"

An Ruoxue asked with a smile.

"It’s alright."

Su Ming nodded slightly.

"Wait a mont, I’ll get sothing for you."

An Ruoxue said to Su Ming.

"Okay."

Su Ming nodded again.

At this mont, An Ruoxue walked to her locker, reached out to open it, and took out a set of advanced Third Generation Exoskeleton Armor.

"This set of exoskeleton armor is for you."

"You had this all along, why bother with disguises?"

Su Ming replied with a dark expression.

The Third Generation Exoskeleton Armor cos with a helt; just wearing it would suffice.

"Can’t be too careful. I’m doing it for your good too."

An Ruoxue replied with a chuckle.

"Alright."

Su Ming was left without a word by An Ruoxue.

"Su Ming, what cha do you have at hand right now?"

An Ruoxue asked while helping Su Ming put on the Third Generation Exoskeleton Armor.

"The most advanced cha I have now is the Light Wings."

Su Ming replied with so frustration.

"Third Generation cha definitely won’t do. I’ll get you a Fake V Generation cha to make do for now."

"Okay!"

"Actually, I know this is a bit of a compromise for you. Normally, it should be my father’s V Generation cha for you to drive, as that’s the best option. But as you know, that’s not possible unless you reveal your identity to him."

An Ruoxue said helplessly.

"No worries, the Fake V Generation cha is enough. However, there’s sothing I’d like to ask of you."

Su Ming thought for a mont before speaking.

"Go ahead."

An Ruoxue asked curiously.

"Can you transfer my squad over? If they follow the Divine Word Legion into battle, I fear not many will survive; they might all end up as cannon fodder."

Su Ming sighed slightly.

Although Wicket and the others were prepared to die, Su Ming still wanted to ensure they lived as long as possible.

"No problem; I’ll talk to Dikufa and transfer them over to join my personal guard."

An Ruoxue nodded in agreent.

If Dikufa wasn’t her person, this task would be quite difficult, risking alerting Emkain, but now it’s just a trivial task.

"Thank you."

Su Ming felt a burden lift off his heart upon hearing An Ruoxue’s reply.

"If anyone should be thanking, it’s ."

An Ruoxue replied softly with a bright smile.

Su Ming fell silent for a mont, then spoke up.

"Ti’s about up, I’ll go inform Wicket and the others."

"Alright, see you tomorrow morning. I’ll take you to visit the personal guard and the cha."

An Ruoxue said to Su Ming.

"Mm."

Su Ming then left with Celeste.

...

In the connecting corridor between the Faith and the fortress, Wicket and Jieva patiently waited.

At that mont, Su Ming approached from a distance and stopped in front of them.

Wicket stared at the figure in the Third Generation Exoskeleton Armor before him, unable to discern the face, and instinctively spoke.

"Sir."

"It’s ."

Su Ming said with a smile.

"Sir, why are you dressed like that?"

Wicket and Jieva said with joy.

"It’s a long story, let’s skip that for now, listen to what I have to say next."

"Alright."

"I’ve arranged for you to be transferred under Miss An Ruoxue’s command. Dikufa will notify you soon. Just discreetly comply, and don’t let this be known publicly."

Su Ming said to Wicket and Jieva.

"Understood."

Though surprised, Wicket and Jieva responded promptly.

"Mm, I’ll be fighting alongside you in this war. But rember what I say, survive as much as you can!"

Su Ming patted their shoulders.

"Yes, sir."

Wicket and Jieva’s eyes were a bit misty as they responded.

....

The next morning.

An Ruoxue opened her door and stepped out, seeing Su Ming leaning against the wall, having waited for so ti, she smiled and spoke,

"Good morning."

"Mm."

Su Ming nodded slightly.

"Let’s go; I’ll lead you to the hangar."

An Ruoxue said with a lighthearted tone.

Su Ming followed An Ruoxue towards the moving platform.

Monts later, they took the moving platform to Hangar 2.

Clink!

As the tallic doors of the moving platform opened, a bustling scene greeted their eyes.

Rows of chas were neatly arranged at the parking spots, and nurous maintenance personnel were working overti, conducting final maintenance on the chas with their equipnt.

"Raykke, hurry up!"

"Got it."

...

An Ruoxue guided Su Ming through the moving platform and walked forward.

Along the way, whether they were busy maintenance personnel or soldiers, upon seeing An Ruoxue, all of them bowed and greeted her.

"Miss!"

An Ruoxue nodded slightly in response and introduced to Su Ming.

"The cha and combat personnel in this hangar are all my personal guard."

"They seem well-disciplined. How many exactly?"

Su Ming glanced around, spotting several Fourth Generation cha·Light Shadows, as well as thirty Third Generation cha·Light Wings, with the rest being exclusively Second Generation cha·Light Guards.

"In total, there are 500 chas."

An Ruoxue replied with a smile.

"Not bad."

Su Ming nodded slightly in response.

"I actually wanted to assemble more, but the budget is limited."

"I understand, gathering such a large force is quite impressive. Plus, I believe it’s more important for a unit to be elite rather than just large."

"I think so too, and that’s the cha prepared for you."
