171: Chapter 171: Seeing Ghosts (Second Update) 171: Chapter 171: Seeing Ghosts (Second Update) Su Ming scanned the cockpit and had no idea how to arrange everything.
But at that mont, An Ruoxue said with a smile.
“I have a way, watch .”
After speaking, An Ruoxue walked over to Su Ming’s left side, squatted down, and lay across his thighs.
Instantly, Su Ming’s thighs slightly trembled, and his whole body felt like it had been electrocuted, bringing an inexplicable, strange sensation.
Lin Chuyu saw this scene and was also startled.
“Co on over!”
An Ruoxue cheerfully called out to Lin Chuyu.
Lin Chuyu’s expression suddenly beca unnatural, but she still walked to Su Ming’s right side, mimicked An Ruoxue, squatted down, and shyly lay on Su Ming’s thighs.
However, once both were in place, Su Ming did not move for a long ti.
“Su Ming?”
Lin Chuyu raised her head and called out in confusion.
“Cough, what’s the matter?”
Su Ming snapped back to reality and responded.
“We’re ready, you can close the cockpit now.”
Lin Chuyu hurriedly reminded him.
“Okay, let’s go.”
Su Ming awkwardly replied and then closed the cockpit, controlling the Iron Guard cha as he walked outside while checking its weaponry.
The Iron Guard cha was fitted with only two types of weapons, a GD-01 model Beam Rifle with two ammo clips and an Alloy Blade, nothing else.
However, the only good thing was that the fuel rod was full.
Soon Su Ming piloted the Iron Guard cha out of the building.
Yet the mont he erged, the scanner imdiately displayed several gray dots.
All these gray dots were Iron Guards.
“So many enemies?”
Lin Chuyu was also very surprised, not expecting so many students from other academies to be in the city.
Just then, the scanner showed that the enemies had spotted them too and were moving in their direction.
“The opponents are encircling us, we can’t stay here, we need to hurry.
Lie down; it might get bumpy!”
Su Ming decisively made a decision and piloted the Iron Guard cha at high speed towards the outskirts of the city, flying close to the ground.
Lin Chuyu and An Ruoxue tried to squat still, but the cha’s movents were large while dodging buildings, so they could only hold tightly onto Su Ming’s thighs.
Even though they were wearing Exoskeleton Armor, they still felt sowhat unnatural.
However, Su Ming was completely focused on piloting, ignoring everything else.
Lin Chuyu watched Su Ming’s serious deanor, becoming sowhat dazed for a mont.
Soon Su Ming managed to shake off the pursuers with the Iron Guard cha and then accelerated towards the outskirts of the city.
Before long, Su Ming flew the cha to the edge of the city and said to the two,
“Just a bit further and we can break out of the city; then we should be safe.”
“Okay.”
Both Lin Chuyu and An Ruoxue nodded in response.
Su Ming then sped up, rushing straight out of Mox City.
However, the mont he burst out, he was taken aback.
Outside the city, on the barren land, stood a Gun Knight and twenty Fla Knights.
He quickly pulled the control stick, forcing the cha to stop abruptly.
At that mont, the twenty Fla Knights and the Gun Knight all turned their heads to look towards Su Ming.
“Damn, what’s going on?
How did we run into so many chas without the scanner showing them?”
Su Ming glanced at the scanner and muttered in surprise.
Even with his superior piloting skills, there was no way he could defeat so many chas, not to ntion one being a Third Generation cha·Gun Knight.
“Su Ming, take a closer look; the cha in the middle seems to be carrying a shielding device on its back.”
Lin Chuyu whispered to Su Ming.
“No wonder the scanners didn’t detect them.”
Su Ming glanced and responded with a wry smile.
At that mont, the leading Gun Knight suddenly emitted a crisp female voice, questioning Su Ming.
“Who are you?
Which academy are you from?”
Su Ming was also flustered, knowing he definitely could not reveal that he was from the Imperial Court Academy.
He could only claim to be from one of the other two academies.
But he wasn’t sure which academy this group was from, and if he claid theirs, he would blow his cover.
In the anti, Lin Chuyu whispered to Su Ming.
“Su Ming, it seems like everybody inside the city is from Bikong Academy; they might be too.
Maybe we should say we’re from Ansk College.”
At that mont, a girl operating a Fla Knight, who seed quite impatient, said irritably.
“Speak up, didn’t you hear Ai Yin asking you a question?”
Su Ming’s eyes flickered rapidly as he analyzed and speculated.
The squad seed to have a high proportion of girls, and their cha styles were also different from those in the city; they could be from two different groups.
He felt these people were not from Bikong Academy but from Ansk College, so he switched on his communicator and replied.
“I am from Bikong Academy.”
“Sister, it’s soone from Bikong Academy.”
The Fla Knight, sowhat surprised, relayed to Ai Yin.
“Um, what’s your na?”
Ai Yin followed up.
Su Ming and the others were montarily stunned—who knows what na to give?
Surely they couldn’t just make one up?
“My sister is talking to you.
Are you mute?” the impatient Fla Knight asked.
“Uh, I am Cao Ran.”
Su Ming responded imdiately.
Lin Chuyu and An Ruoxue, too, looked at Su Ming with puzzled expressions.
“Lan Yue, let’s go!”
Ai Yin, without another word after hearing the response, turned her cha around to lead the team away.
“Phew~”
Lin Chuyu and An Ruoxue breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the others leave.
It seed Su Ming had guessed correctly.
However, at that mont, Su Ming suddenly maneuvered his Iron Guard cha to follow Ai Yin and her team.
“Su Ming, what are you doing?”
An Ruoxue looked at Su Ming in surprise.
“Follow them.
It’s clear they are heading to the Teboken main base city.
It would be too hard for us to break in on our own.”
Su Ming’s eyes flickered as he explained in a low voice.
He was indeed taking a huge gamble; since these Ansk students hadn’t attacked him, maybe he could follow them.
Lan Yue and her team noticed Su Ming was still following them and spoke over the communication channel.
“Sister, that Cao Ran from Bikong Academy is still following us.”
Upon hearing this, Ai Yin turned her cha around, lowering her shoulder-mounted Beam Cannon to lock onto Su Ming and warned.
“Stop, do not follow us.”
“Heh, just let follow.
I can’t survive on my own out here.”
Su Ming, throwing caution to the wind, started to act pitifully.
“That has nothing to do with us; just don’t follow us.”
After warning him, Ai Yin turned and continued to lead her team forward.
Su Ming, however, maneuvered his Iron Guard cha to keep following them at a distance.
“Big sister, that guy really has thick skin, still following us.”
Lan Yue said to Ai Yin.
“I know, just ignore him.”
Ai Yin replied impassively.
Soon after, when Su Ming followed Ai Yin’s team over a protruding hill, the view before him made his pupils constrict.
