“I’ll be damned, the fight’s broken out!”
Ankaga exclaid, shocked.
Su Ming took a glance at the lee before his gaze landed on the mouth of the sphalerite mining base.
“Ankaga, do you think the people and items we’re looking for could be inside this mining base?”
“It’s very likely.”
Ankaga pondered before replying.
Hearing this, Su Ming no longer hesitated and said to Ankaga,
“Contact Rhein and get them over here!”
“No problem, they must have arrived by now after so much ti!”
Ankaga imdiately picked up a signal device and activated it.
Su Ming stood in place, overlooking the ongoing battle.
He noticed Monica was not there; it looked like she must have been intercepted on the way.
About ten minutes later,
Ankaga excitedly shouted,
“They’re here!”
Su Ming turned around to look back and saw a series of figures appear against the distant sky, none other than Rhein and the others.
Soon, Rhein and his group, piloting their chas, gracefully landed in front of Su Ming.
They had also brought Su Ming’s Slaughterer and Ankaga’s Iron Guard with them.
“Class leader, we’ve arrived.”
Rhein and the others shouted excitedly; they’d been holding back for a long ti and were finally ready to take action.
“You’ve worked hard.
Ankaga, get on your ch!”
Su Ming walked toward the Slaughterer.
Ankaga wasted no ti and dashed towards his Iron Guard.
It didn’t take long for the two of them to board their chas, and Su Ming opened the squad’s communication channel, asking,
“Did Zhang Yi and the others tell you about the specific situation?”
“They did.”
Rhein and the others promptly replied.
“Then I won’t repeat it.
The Dark Dragon Association is our ally; the Ghost Shadow Sect is the enemy.”
“Got it.
So, do we go down now to help them?”
“Not for now!
That mining base is the Ghost Shadow Sect’s, and now I suspect that the people and items are inside the base.
So I’ve decided, while they’re locked in fierce combat, to sneak in and rescue the prisoners!”
Su Ming stated plainly.
He wouldn’t miss out on such a good opportunity to benefit from their conflict.
“Alright!”
Rhein and the others replied without hesitation.
“Follow !”
Su Ming piloted his ch, leading Rhein and the others away.
Ten minutes later,
Su Ming and his team appeared above the mountain enclosing the sphalerite mining base.
They piloted their chas down the slope toward the main gate of the base.
If one observed carefully, they could see that Mandy and a few others on their chas were carrying large shield generators.
The two Fla Knights guarding the main gate noticed sothing amiss and turned around, looking up just in ti.
Su Ming and Rhein piloted their chas to a quick descent.
Crack!
Su Ming swung his particle light saber, cleanly slicing one Fla Knight in half.
Rhein used his gun to pierce through the cockpit of the other Fla Knight.
In an instant, both chas guarding the gate were taken down.
Su Ming then took the lead, charging with his team through the open doors.
The corridor behind the gate was extrely wide, over a hundred ters high and twenty ters wide, but the tallic walls were very rough.
Su Ming and his team charged furiously inside, and when they reached the end, they arrived at a storage area.
There were tal encased boxes everywhere, all filled with freshly mined sphalerite ore.
Since the Ghost Shadow Sect lacked the technology to slt on site, they only sorted and packaged the ore.
Additionally, there were quite a few guards present, led by a Second Generation cha·Beast Teeth, with the rest being Iron Heads and Iron Knight chas, along with nurous individuals in First Generation Single Soldier Armor.
“Who are you?”
The Garrison Captain promptly sounded the alarm while asking in shocked anger.
They had no idea when Su Ming and his group had infiltrated the base.
The guards had sent no warning.
An ear-piercing alarm resounded throughout the entire base.
“We’re from the Dark Dragon Association.
Today, we’ve co to flatten you lot.
Take them down!”
Su Ming directly claid to be from the Dark Dragon Association, speaking coldly.
He chose not to reveal his true identity but impersonate mbers of the Dark Dragon Association instead.
His reason was simple: to prevent them from knowing that they were from the Imperial Court Academy and using hostages as leverage, which would have been a real hassle.
Rhein suddenly maneuvered his Gun Knight ch and charged with swift ferocity, aiming his gun at the Garrison Captain.
Before he could react, the spear pierced right into the cockpit and exploded the entire Beast Teeth cha.
Zhang Yi and the others opened fire on the rest of the chas and personnel!
Screams and explosions rang out non-stop.
The scene was a one-sided massacre, which was not surprising since the main force of the Ghost Shadow Sect was not within the base.
In the blink of an eye, nearly all of the people in the reserve area were slaughtered.
That’s when Su Ming said to his team,
“Leave a few alive!”
“Okay!”
Rhein and the others responded imdiately.
Soon, three surviving mbers of the Ghost Shadow Sect were brought before Su Ming, kneeling on the ground, trembling.
Su Ming asked coldly,
“Where are the people you captured being held?”
The three prisoners were taken aback, their faces filled with fear, too scared to utter a word.
But Su Ming had no ti to waste with them.
He swung his particle light saber, instantly vaporizing one of the captives.
Seeing their comrade evaporate, the remaining two prisoners spoke up in utter fear,
“They’re locked up on the second underground level in the prison!
Spare us, we’ve told you everything.”
“Lead the way!”
After getting the answer he wanted, Su Ming imdiately told the two.
