“Military flight route planning successful, destination: Sky Control Base!”
Su Ming then pulled on the control lever, guiding the cha to fly forward along the virtual route.
Soon, he led the team out of the training area and over a plantation.
Everyone looked down to see vast fields of golden wheat.
Inside the golden wheat fields, nurous students clad in work uniforms were carefully harvesting wheat with sickles, occasionally bending over to pick up fallen grains.
At that mont, so students heard the noise, looked up into the sky, and quietly watched as a group of chas flew past.
…
At that ti, Su Ming controlled the cha, leading his team forward along the guided route.
They soon arrived at the end, where they saw an exit frad by a tallic structure on the Dorag Sphere barrier.
At the exit, two Iron Guard chas stood guard.
As they saw Su Ming and the others approach, they manipulated their chas to raise their hands in salute.
Su Ming and the others returned the salute and passed through the exit in an orderly fashion.
They continued to fly, speeding over the suburban areas dotted with small Dorag Spheres.
Shortly after, Su Ming and his team flew away from Starlight City.
Rhein and others looked back at the bustling Starlight City behind them, feeling sowhat moved.
Once they left the city, they were embarking on a journey, uncertain when they might return alive.
“Class leader, do you think we can win this war?”
“Not sure, it depends on our Commander and the configuration of the troops.”
Su Ming was also unsure.
“Ah, really?”
“But you don’t have to worry, the big shots above have dared to assemble a new army for a rescue, so they must be sowhat confident.”
“That makes sense.”
Hearing this, Rhein and others nodded in agreent.
“Alright, let’s speed up and try to reach Sky Control Base as soon as possible.”
As Su Ming said this, he accelerated along the planned route.
Rhein and the others followed closely.
Below them, many buses were speeding along the highway, carrying students and soldiers who had enlisted.
Through the windows, they looked up at Su Ming and his comrades flying in the sky and enviously remarked.
“It’s a cha group!”
“I really envy them, I should have applied for the cha major!”
“Co on, it’s not that easy to get into the cha major!”
…
Swoosh!
Su Ming and the others flew past quickly, observed by envious glances.
Soon, they spotted many scattered Second Generation chas in the distance, all heading in the sa direction as them towards the Sky Control Base.
It was clear these chas were all heading to the Sky Control Base.
At this ti, the chas noticed Su Ming and his team and exclaid over the public channel.
“Wow, there are so many chas in that group!”
“Not just many, did you see there are a lot of Third Generation chas among them!”
“Gun Knights, Green Wings, my God!
Even an Eagle Falcon?”
“Aweso, did these guys really steal chas from the Imperial Army?”
“What’s so aweso about that?
Look at the cha leading them.”
“I don’t recognize that cha at all, can’t figure out its model, never seen this type before.”
“Are you dumb?
That’s a custom cha, super expensive, worth several Third Generation chas!”
…
Listening to the discussions on the public channel, Rhein and others laughed and said to Su Ming.
“Class leader, they’re talking about you!”
“Yeah, I know.”
“Aren’t you going to say sothing?”
Zhang Yi egged him on.
“Not interested.”
Su Ming replied, clearly uninterested.
“Co on, class leader, don’t be so aloof!”
“Right!
Tease them a little; there are several girls there!”
…
Rhein and the others joked.
“Go chill sowhere else.”
Su Ming replied with a slight smile.
…
Three hours later.
Su Ming and his team arrived at the outer area of Sky Control Base.
From afar, they saw a fading Dorag Sphere sprawling over several square kiloters.
Su Ming led Rhein and others through a tal-frad entrance in the air.
In front of them, an old, semi-circular base with a peeling surface coating appeared.
On the base’s edge, there were several dilapidated factory-style warehouses.
“This base looks so broken, doesn’t it?”
Zhang Yi said, baffled.
“I rember Sky Control Base, it was sealed due to outdated equipnt, must have just been temporarily reactivated.”
Rhein vaguely recalled.
“Really?
Temporarily reactivated?
Can the equipnt inside still work?
It’d be funny if the life support system crashed while we were sleeping!”
“Don’t worry, if you’re really concerned, just keep wearing the Exoskeleton Armor.”
Su Ming reassuringly told them.
“That’s all we can do!”
Zhang Yi and the others reluctantly agreed.
“Alright, enough about that, prepare to land in the cha docking area.”
Su Ming led Zhang Yi and the others toward a vast docking area in front of the base.
All over the area, various models of Second Generation chas were landing.
Soldiers clad in iron-shell Exoskeleton Armor were orderly directing the landed chas to different factory-style warehouses.
At this ti, Su Ming led Rhein and his group down.
Thump!
Loud dull sounds spread.
People around heard them and imdiately exclaid.
“Holy smokes, so many Third Generation chs.
The leading cha is even a custom one!
Which high-ranking officer is this?”
“Unsure, but so aweso.”
