They kept flying inward, passing through the floating teorites.
“Is your base located here?”
Su Ming surveyed the surrounding teorites and asked.
“Yes, our base is here.
Not that it’s anything to scoff at, but we had nowhere to hide outside, so we could only take refuge here,”
Bair replied to Su Ming with a wry smile.
“I see, this location is quite good, very hidden.”
Su Ming gave an approving evaluation.
“That teorite ahead, that’s our base.”
At that mont, Bair excitedly told Su Ming and the others.
Su Ming glanced over and saw, in the space ahead, a gigantic teorite with a diater of five hundred kiloters drifting.
On the surface of this giant teorite, five old Second Generation cha·Beast Teeth stood guard.
The five Beast Teeth chas, upon seeing a swarm of chas flying over, were instantly stupefied.
Fortunately, they recognized Bair and the others flying at the forefront, or they would have definitely sounded the alarm.
“Xilong, look who we’ve brought back.”
Bair shouted excitedly.
“Bair, who are they?”
Captain Xilong stuttered in asking.
“They are from the Federation, guess what they just did?”
Bair replied excitedly.
“How would I know?”
Captain Xilong replied in confusion.
“They just destroyed the Heart of Sky Base in the neighboring Star Sea, impressive, right?”
Bair announced to Xilong and the others with great excitent.
“You’re not joking, are you?
Did they really destroy the Heart of Sky Base?”
Xilong and the others had their eyes wide open in astonishnt, their jaws nearly dropping to the ground.
“Why would I lie to you?
Enough chat, I’ve got to take them to see the commander!”
Bair, leading Su Ming and the others, flew toward the crude entrance in the teorite’s surface.
Su Ming and his companions quickly followed.
Soon after, they entered through the entrance into a rough tunnel.
The tunnel’s rocky walls were uneven, with an illumination lamp hung sporadically at intervals along the distance, the conditions were very basic.
Rhein saw this scene and whispered to Su Ming over an encrypted channel.
“Squad leader, I had so doubts before that they might be the Imperial Army trying to deceive us, but seeing how basic this is, I think these people must be the real Holy Army.”
“Talk less, and even if they are the Holy Army, do not let your guard down.”
Su Ming instructed Rhein.

Rhein replied seriously.
Before long, Su Ming and the others, guided by Bair, passed through an isolation barrier and flew to the end of the corridor.

“You can park your chas here.”
Bair told Su Ming and the rest.
Su Ming imdiately operated the Slaughter cha to decelerate, staying against the wall, and gently sat down.

The cha scraped against the ground, shooting out sparks before coming to a precise stop at the parking spot.
Rhein and the others also parked their chas.
At this mont, personnel from the Holy Army ca over, bewildered as they looked towards the Slaughter and other chas.

At this ti, Bair climbed out of the cockpit, took off his helt, revealing a face full of freckles, and shouted excitedly to his comrades.

Could they be the Federation troops that breached the Dark Star Empire?”
A middle-aged man with dark skin, a slim build, and wearing old Second Generation Exoskeleton Armor spoke up in surprise.
“That’s right!”
Bair said, thrilled.
At this mont, Su Ming and Rhein, among others, opened their cockpits and jumped down, while people like Kaff stayed inside their chas without showing intent to dismount.
“Hello!”
Su Ming greeted Wuge and the others politely.
“Hello.”
Wuge and the others replied, their expressions very tense.
“Uncle Wuge, I’ll take them to et the commander now.”
Bair told Wuge.
“Go ahead.”
Wuge replied reservedly.
Then Bair turned his head to Su Ming and asked.
“Mr.
Su Ming, aren’t the others coming along?”
“No need, they can just stay here.”
Su Ming replied with a smile.
“Alright then, follow !”
Bair didn’t think too much of it and led Su Ming and the others toward the old-fashioned lift.
Soon Su Ming and his party stepped onto the rickety elevator, and Bair pulled a lever.
Clang!
Accompanied by a grating friction noise, the elevator began to shakily ascend.
Not long after, the elevator rose through the rock ceiling, and their view suddenly opened up, arriving in a hollowed-out cave with a diater of ten kiloters.
