Chapter 664: After modification: Chapter 363 Silver Executor (5 in 1)_2
“How much longer until we reach the battlefield?”
Onite inquired with a stern face.
“Soon, at most fourteen minutes. The battle alert has already been sounded, and all combat personnel are preparing.”
Chen Qi replied, looking at the data on the operation screen.
Su Ming couldn’t help but glance at this Major Chen Qi, noting his strong professional skills.
Onite’s expression softened upon hearing this, and he then smiled broadly.
“Sir, please sit here.”
Su Ming looked at the command chair in front of him and, without hesitation, sat down, patiently waiting.
Soon, the Shattered Light approached the edge of the battlefield. A large red dot popped up on the scanning device screen, and a piercing alarm sounded imdiately.
“Commander, we’ve arrived. We’ve detected an unknown entity.”
Chen Qi imdiately reported.
“How many enemies?”
“One!”
“One? Open the optical device, let take a look!”
Onite was also quite surprised; such an anomaly prompting General Yalt to call for reinforcents was exceedingly unusual.
Su Ming also felt sothing was amiss and promptly sat up, looking at the operation screen.
At this point, Chen Qi activated the optical device, capturing the battlefield situation from a distance and projecting it.
In the vast starry sky, clusters of chas and four Fourth Generation chas were frantically besieging a weapon of incredibly peculiar design.
“Enlarge the image!”
Su Ming spoke with a serious expression.
“Quickly, enlarge it.”
Seeing Su Ming speak, Onite enthusiastically issued the order.
“Yes!”
Chen Qi promptly adjusted the optical device, enlarging the captured image.
The strange weapon appeared extrely ferocious; despite being besieged, it was not in a disadvantageous position and continuously slaughtering the attacking chas.
“What weapon is this? It doesn’t quite look like a cha?”
Chen Qi and others stared in shock.
Su Ming’s expression grew increasingly grave; although he couldn’t figure out what this weapon was, it was evidently incredibly powerful.
Onite walked up, troubled, and said to Chen Qi.
“Connect to Ray’ao and Luo Fu’an, quickly!”
“Yes!”
Chen Qi imdiately operated the controls.
Swish!
Ray’ao and a group of officers’ holographic images all appeared. From the background of their images, it was clear they were all preparing in their cha cockpits.
“Commander Onite.”
Ray’ao and others spoke expressionlessly.
Although Onite was their commander, none of them were sincerely loyal to him.
“General Yalt is under attack by an unknown enemy. I now order you all to imdiately deploy and support.”
“Yes!”
Ray’ao and others responded in deep voices.
After issuing the order, Onite cut the communication and smiled at Su Ming.
“Sir, everything is arranged.”
Su Ming’s expression changed and he said solemnly.
“This enemy is very tricky. They probably won’t handle it; I’ll give you a hand.”
Onite hurriedly tried to persuade Su Ming upon hearing his words.
“Sir, this situation is too dangerous. How could I let you go? Such matters should be handled by them.”
“Do you think they can handle it?”
Su Ming looked at Onite with darkened expressions.
Generally, which commander would refuse outside reinforcents? They would all be eager for more external help so that their subordinates could sacrifice less. But this guy was trying to persuade him not to intervene.
“Sir, it isn’t customary for the higher-ups to go directly to battle. Let the others try first to assess the enemy’s strength. When things have settled a bit, then you can intervene to ensure absolute success.”
Onite said obsequiously.
Su Ming’s mouth twitched listening to Onite’s words, but he still spoke.
“Alright.”
Onite’s reasoning wasn’t entirely without sense.
He decided to observe for a while and gauge the situation of that weapon before taking action, to be safer.
Seeing Su Ming dismiss the idea of joining the battle, Onite was imdiately relieved; after all, he had managed to cling to a powerful ally and wouldn’t want anything happening to him.
Not long after, two Fourth Generation chas·Shadow Slayers led a large group of chas, charging out from the Shattered Light and swarming towards the battlefield.
Su Ming’s expression was extrely serious as he watched the unfolding battlefield imagery.
That peculiar weapon moved like a fish in water, not only was it incredibly fast, but its movents were exceptionally agile.
Even under General Yalt’s siege, it was able to easily slaughter the chas surrounding it.
Boom~
cha after cha exploded.
At this point, the Level 5 Mother Ship·Breakthrough opened a line of launch ports, pouring out a dense barrage once again.
However, facing the overwhelming missile attack, the weapon did not dodge; instead, its electronic eyes turned blood red.
In an instant, the incoming missiles seed to lose their targets, darting and weaving erratically.
Rumble!
In an instant, the besieging chas were hit by roaming missiles.
“Ah!”
The public communication channel instantly resounded with screams.
“Damn it!”
Yalt, upon seeing this, furiously controlled the Black Hunting cha, sharply charging towards the weapon.
But the peculiar weapon didn’t engage Yalt directly. Instead, it accelerated towards other besieging chas.
Clank!
One Iron Guard cha after another was cut open.
All Yalt and others could do was chase in frustration, but their chas were slower and could only be led around chaotically.
Fortunately, Ray’ao and others arrived in ti, shouting in the public communication channel.
“General Yalt, we’re here!”
“Great, block it for !”
Yalt commanded Ray’ao and others.
“Yes!”
