The two strolled along the street.

It was a small 25-square-ter place, with a separate bathroom and kitchen. The living room and bedroom were connected.

“Sit anywhere, I’ll get you so water.”
Lin Chuyu walked to the coffee table, poured a glass of water, and handed it to Su Ming.

“Are you okay? Did it spill on you?”
“I’m fine. Little Gray, co back.”
Su Ming, a little exasperated, called to Little Gray.
Little Gray imdiately jumped into Su Ming’s hand, tilting its head and looking at Lin Chuyu with its big Karzilan eyes.
“Su Ming, is this your pet?”
Lin Chuyu asked, sowhat surprised, looking at Little Gray.
“Yes, its na is Little Gray.”
Su Ming introduced with a smile.
“It looks so cute.”
Lin Chuyu admired Little Gray, speaking affectionately.
Seeing Lin Chuyu complint it, Little Gray flapped its wings and flew into Lin Chuyu’s arms.
Lin Chuyu imdiately cradled it.
Little Gray started to act adorably, constantly snuggling against Lin Chuyu.
“So well-behaved.”
Lin Chuyu happily petted its head.
“As long as you like it.”
Su Ming watched the scene, showing a resigned smile.
Lin Chuyu then sat beside Su Ming, petting Little Gray’s head while chatting with Su Ming.
“Su Ming, we haven’t seen each other for over half a year, right?”
“Pretty much, since that night we had dinner together.”

“Actually, after that night, I went looking for you but couldn’t find you. Later, I heard you were conscripted.”
Lin Chuyu spoke to Su Ming.

“Su Ming, it’s late, why don’t you stay here tonight?”
“Is it okay?”
“It’s fine, you can sleep in my room.”
“No need, I’ll sleep on the couch; I can make do for a night.”
Su Ming shook his head in response.
“Alright, but if it’s uncomfortable, you can join ….”
Lin Chuyu said softly, cheeks slightly red.
“What? What did you say?”
Su Ming asked, puzzled.
Lin Chuyu looked up, only to see Su Ming already lying on the couch. She sighed slightly and said.
“Never mind, have a good rest.”
“Okay.”

A series of urgent knocks woke Su Ming. He got up from the couch and opened the door.
“Chuyu, you promised we’d go shopping together, you….”
An Ruoxue scolded angrily.

An Ruoxue proudly said to Su Ming.
“What is it?”
Su Ming asked, intrigued.
“Both Lin Chuyu and I have joined the headquarters Special Warfare Departnt. We’re both majors now, sa rank as you. From now on, we’re equals.”
An Ruoxue said with a grin.
Su Ming heard An Ruoxue’s words and smiled playfully. He didn’t want to discourage her and responded with a smile.
“Alright, Major An.”
“Alright, no chatting now, I ca to get Chuyu because we have a sudden Biological Machine training session. We should hurry.”
An Ruoxue glanced at her wristband and hurriedly said.
“A sudden training session? Su Ming, I need to get back to headquarters fast; it might be late when I return.”
Lin Chuyu quickly said to Su Ming.
“No problem, you go ahead. I’ll go et a friend anwhile.”
Su Ming waved his hand dismissively.
“Let’s go, we’re running late. Su Ming, catch you later.”
An Ruoxue hurriedly pulled Lin Chuyu away.
