Chapter 772: Chapter 379: Hidden Agendas (5-in-1)_6

General Sigurd pondered for a mont, then said with a serious expression.

“Gabres, don’t you think Commander Alekde’s behavior is a bit unusual?”

“Unusual how?”

“He usually wouldn’t offend the Council like this, it’s very unwise.”

“Hmph, I thought you were going to say sothing more. What’s the Council worth? To put it bluntly, the Council is only the Council with the Council Chairman; without the Council Chairman, it’s nothing!”

Gabres replied bluntly.

“That’s true. When the Council ca this ti, it was expected that the Council Chairman would co, but unexpectedly, he didn’t.”

General Sigurd sighed.

“It’s been a hundred years now, and I still haven’t seen the Council Chairman.”

Gabres also frowned.

“Yes, but although the Council Chairman didn’t co, it seems a handwritten letter was sent in.”

“A handwritten letter?”

“Yes, after the fact, when I went to Commander Alekde’s office, I saw him continuously looking at a letter, which seed to be from the Council Chairman.”

General Sigurd calmly explained.

“A handwritten letter doesn’t necessarily an anything.”

Gabres frowned and said.

“You’re right; a handwritten letter indeed doesn’t an much. I feel that Commander Alekde perhaps thinks like us. Don’t you think this situation seems like he’s making a deliberate mistake?”

“Deliberate mistake?”

“Exactly. I don’t know what benefits the Third Prince promised Commander Alekde, but since the commander has been stationed here for so many years, if he were so easily bought off, would he still be waiting until today?”

Sigurd’s eyes flashed as he spoke.

“You have a point, so if he’s making a deliberate mistake, it’s to provoke a reaction from the Council Chairman?”

Gabres replied imdiately.

“Yes, that’s a strong possibility. But I’m really worried now.”

“Sigurd, think carefully before you speak; this isn’t a joke.”

“I know it’s no joke. Actually, I wasn’t thinking about it at first, but the Shatake Sovereign’s affairs reminded .”

Sigurd said to Gabres.

Upon hearing Sigurd’s words, Gabres’s face turned grimr before he spoke.

“You can’t think that way!”

“Alright, let’s not talk about this anymore.”

Sigurd sighed.

“Let’s discuss the Star Storage. If we lose to so juniors, it will be utterly humiliating.”

Gabres said in a somber tone.

Sigurd didn’t answer Gabres but instead folded his hands behind his back and walked to the V-generation Pure chanical cha·Netherworld Envoy, smiling as he looked at the stars painted on his cha.

“Look up there. I only have one sun, which is one less than yours. Do you know how vexed I’ve been all these years?”

Hearing Sigurd’s words, Gabres frowned and asked.

“What do you want to do?”

“Nothing, really. It seems like the Star Storage event doesn’t require us to be completely honest when mining, does it? If all our competitors disappear, won’t we be the last ones standing?”

Sigurd replied with a smile.

“Haha, great idea! I have no interest in mining anyway. What could be more enjoyable than a solo page on the glory board?”

Gabres responded joyfully.

“Haha, then it’s settled.”

Sigurd’s face lit up with an even brighter smile.

Level 5 Battleship·Light Shuttle.

In the corridor of the living area.

An intelligent robot led Su Ming, Lin Chuyu, An Ruoxue, and others forward.

At this mont, another cylindrical intelligent robot approached, poking Su Ming’s bottom with its chanical hand.

Su Ming was slightly taken aback and turned to look at the intelligent robot behind him.

The intelligent robot imdiately turned its head to the side, pretending it wasn’t involved.

Su Ming imdiately reacted, raising his hand to heavily pat the intelligent robot’s head.

Bam!

“Su Ming, what’s going on?”

Lin Chuyu and the others looked at Su Ming in confusion.

Su Ming continued to pat the intelligent robot’s head, smiling as he said.

“This machine keeps bumping into for so reason, as if it’s broken. I’ll give it so more taps to see if I can fix it.”

The intelligent robot at this mont raised its hand to cover its head while its eyes kept blinking at Su Ming, seemingly very upset.

An Ruoxue, watching this scene, thought for a mont before saying.

“It’s probably malfunctioning. After all, not many people research intelligent robots, so minor bugs are normal.”

“Maybe.”

Su Ming then pushed the intelligent robot into a corner.

They continued on their way.

Before long, Su Ming arrived at the door of his room. He briefly said goodbye to Lin Chuyu and opened the door to go in.

The room was a spacious 100 square ters, and elegantly decorated.

At this point, Little Grey darted out of Su Ming’s pocket, jumping around the room excitedly.

Su Ming didn’t pay attention to Little Grey but went straight to the bedroom.

He sat down on the bed and called out.

“Celeste!”

The projection TV in the bedroom instantly turned on, and Celeste appeared in the projection screen, playfully greeting Su Ming.

“How did you know I was here?”

Su Ming’s mouth twitched slightly as he spoke to Celeste.

“Oh co on, who else would play pranks like this other than you?”

“It’s because you don’t co find to hang out; yet we’re supposed to be friends.”

Celeste said, disgruntled.

“Well, you can’t bla . Wasn’t I deployed? By the way, let ask you sothing, were you in the Starshine Fortress during the expedition?”

Su Ming quickly asked.

“Uh, yes.”

Celeste hesitated montarily, then admitted with so embarrassnt.

“Oh, you bring up not finding , yet you were in the fortress, not looking for .”

Su Ming reproached Celeste.

“Sigh, it’s not that I didn’t want to find you, but Dr. Blakes was watching the whole ti. I really didn’t have a chance to look for you, please don’t be mad.”

Celeste hurried to explain to Su Ming.

“Alright, I’ll ask another question.”

“Go ahead.”

“Why did the Starshine Fortress stay in the Dark Star Empire for half a day without moving?”

“What else could it be doing? Obviously, it’s using you guys as bait and waiting for the right mont to attack Dark Star Empire’s lab.”

“Why are you attacking Dark Star’s lab?”

“Ah, I can’t tell you that!”

Celeste suddenly realized, quickly covering her mouth.

“Oh, you call yourself a friend, yet you won’t even tell this.”

“Sigh, this is classified information. I really can’t tell you.”

“Alright, I’ll ask another question.”

“Okay.”

“Do you know where our Legion Commander is?”

Su Ming looked at Celeste expectantly.

Celeste’s expression imdiately stiffened, and she kept shaking her little head while saying.

“I can’t tell you that.”

“I thought you were my best friend, but you keep secrets. It’s heartbreaking.”

Su Ming said, looking deeply hurt.

“Ugh, the two questions you asked are ones I can’t answer. Ask sothing else, and I promise to tell you!”

Celeste vowed to Su Ming.

“Alright, could you help take a look at this?”

Su Ming raised his wrist, projecting the Genetic Potion from the Wind Moving.

Celeste was utterly stunned when she saw the projection and mumbled.

“This….”
