Chapter 841: Chapter 390 Inheritance (Five-in-One)_6

Su Yuan awkwardly smiled and said.

“It’s okay. By the way, Su Ming, my father asked to take you to the bookroom. He wishes to discuss sothing with you once he’s finished.”

Shadler spoke to Su Ming.

“Didn’t he call for ?”

Su Yuan eagerly inquired.

“No, he didn’t. I’ll take Su Ming first.”

Shadler shook his head and replied.

“Alright then, you guys go ahead.”

Su Yuan sighed in response.

Su Ming then followed Shadler out of the main hall through a side door, as the two walked in a long corridor.

At this mont, Shadler, sowhat bitterly, spoke to Su Ming.

“Sigh, I really understand now why my father insists on maintaining good relations with those from the Dark Star Empire and the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country. If I were in power, I’d certainly drive them all out and give all the benefits to the Federation.”

“I know how much you dislike them, but that’s not how things are done. You should learn more from your father; you’ll understand in the future.”

Su Ming did not elaborate further to Shadler.

“Alright!”

Shadler replied helplessly.

At this mont, a group of soldiers on patrol walked over. Upon seeing Shadler, they all respectfully bowed and greeted.

“Your Highness, Shadler!”

“Hmm!”

Shadler casually waved his hand.

From the soldiers’ attitude, Su Ming could clearly see that Shadler’s status had significantly risen.

A mont later.

Shadler led Su Ming into an ancient bookroom.

The entire bookroom was spacious, with wooden bookshelves lining the walls, filled with various rare and precious books, and a desk at the far end.

Shadler moved a chair in front of the desk and said to Su Ming.

“Su Ming, wait here for a mont. My father will join you once he’s finished.”

“Alright!”

Su Ming sat down on the chair imdiately.

“I’ll leave now; I need to help entertain the guests.”

Shadler said to Su Ming.

“Go ahead.”

Su Ming nodded slightly.

Shadler then left the bookroom, closing the door behind him.

Su Ming sat quietly on the chair, patiently waiting.

After about forty minutes, the tightly closed door suddenly opened.

Su Ming turned his head upon hearing the noise and saw Lord Omid entering with a smiling face.

“Your Highness, Omid.”

Su Ming respectfully addressed.

“Mr. Su Ming, sorry to keep you waiting. I was too busy to break away.”

Lord Omid apologized.

“It’s no problem, I understand. May I ask, Lord Omid, what you needed to discuss with ?”

Su Ming directly asked Omid.

Su Ming certainly didn’t naively think that Omid had called him over just for a chat, especially since today was the first day of his ascension, with many affairs to attend to.

“Nothing much, just wondering if you’ve considered what I previously discussed with you in the ward?”

Lord Omid asked eagerly.

“I’m sorry, but I still feel that the Federation suits better.”

Su Ming was slightly taken aback, then replied apologetically.

“No worries, as I said before, the doors of the Shabask Kingdom will always be open for you!”

“Thank you, Your Highness.”

“Let’s not talk about that for now. Here, take this.”

Omid walked to the desk, opened a drawer, and handed Su Ming a receipt.

Su Ming took the receipt and glanced at it, montarily stunned.

“This is the individual reward for winning the Star Storage competition, a set of materials for a Fake V Generation cha. Logically, I should give this to the Federation, but I think it’s more fitting for you to have it, as no one is more qualified to accept this honor.”

Omid said to Su Ming with a smile.

Upon hearing Omid’s words, Su Ming couldn’t help but admire him.

Omid was indeed shrewd; had this prize been handed to the Federation, it would likely be confiscated under their regulations. By awarding the materials directly to him, even if the Federation learned of it afterwards, they would be too embarrassed to reclaim it.

Furthermore, by giving the materials to Su Ming, it indirectly goes to the Federation, thereby honoring their agreent.

“Thank you, Your Highness Omid.”

Su Ming didn’t stand on ceremony with Omid, as he indeed urgently needed these materials after his cha was destroyed.

“Don’t thank just yet, I have sothing else for you.”

Omid then handed Su Ming a folder.

“What is this?”

Su Ming asked in confusion.

“You may open it and see, just a small gift.”

Omid said with a smile.

Su Ming opened the folder, took out the docunts, and after looking closely, exclaid in shock.

“Insect Star Joint Developnt Share Certificate.”

“That’s right, as per the agreent, I’ve returned the Insect Star to the Federation. However, without a Star Swallower, the Federation cannot fully exploit it! Therefore, Vice City Lord Okens has represented the Federation to reach an agreent with our country for joint developnt!”

“I see.”

“Mr. Su Ming, do you know how much share we normally take when deploying a Star Swallower?”

“I don’t.”

“50%!”

“That much?”

“Indeed, but this ti, out of gratitude for the Federation’s support in my ascension, I’ve made a concession and requested only 40%! Now, I’m transferring 10% of this to you. You don’t have to do anything; after the mining is complete, the earnings will be paid to you in one go. You can choose between cash or materials.”

Lord Omid said with a smile.

Su Ming took a deep breath upon hearing Omid’s offer; 10% of Insect Star’s revenue was indeed astronomical.

Bear in mind, the Federation’s share of 60% isn’t freely obtained; they need to deploy substantial forces to eliminate threats on the Insect Star. anwhile, the costs for deploying the Star Swallower by the Sabakex Kingdom are also quite high.

But his 10% share is pure profit.

Su Ming’s expression changed and then he said to Omid.

“Your Highness, this gift is too precious, I can’t accept it.”

“Precious? I don’t think so. Is this gift more precious than the lives of our father and son?”

Omid replied with a smile.

“This….”

Su Ming found it hard to respond.

“Mr. Su Ming, please be assured, it’s really not a big deal.”

Omid earnestly persuaded.

“Alright, I’ll accept it then.”

Seeing Omid’s insistence, Su Ming couldn’t continue to refuse.

Omid smiled broadly upon Su Ming’s acceptance, then spoke to Su Ming.

“Mr. Su Ming, you and Shadler are great brothers. I hope you can help look after him.”

Su Ming was also sowhat moved by Omid’s words, really a reflection of parental concern. Omid, having just ascended, was already paving the way for his son.

However, Su Ming genuinely liked Shadler, so he readily agreed.

“You can rest assured, no problem!”

“That’s wonderful; feel free to reach out to him whenever needed. If he doesn’t assist, I won’t let it slide.”

Omid was very pleased with Su Ming’s agreent.

“Alright!”

Su Ming replied with a smile.

“It’s getting late, and I have many more guests to attend to, so I’ll leave you now.”

Omid checked his wristwatch, apologizing.

“Alright, I’ll take my leave then.”

“Take care!”

“Hmm.”

Su Ming then left the bookroom with his items.
