90: Chapter 90: Complaining (Extra for the leader singing a love song) (16th update) 90: Chapter 90: Complaining (Extra for the leader singing a love song) (16th update) He walked along the aisle, looking at the seat numbers, searching for seat H2.

The train seats were distributed on either side, with a spacious walkway in the middle.

Additionally, the seating arrangent on the train wasn’t uniform but adopted a format where three seats faced another three seats, sowhat like in small compartnts.

This design was also to prevent passengers from getting too bored during the journey, enabling interaction with each other.

The carriage was quite full, with nearly all seats occupied.

Approximately half were students, with the remaining being parents accompanying their children and regular passengers.

When Su Ming found seat H2, he was briefly taken aback, to see that Gu ng and her two friends were seated right across from him.

Nevertheless, he indifferently placed his suitcase on the luggage rack above and then sat down, took out a single earphone, put it on, and quietly listened to music.

Gu ng glanced at the rather handso young man sitting opposite her and felt him oddly familiar.

It seed she had seen him sowhere before, but she couldn’t rember where.

As for Qi Shen and Liu Xiao, they also found Su Ming sowhat familiar but didn’t recognize him and didn’t pay much attention.

Qi Shen took out a bottle of high-end mineral water, offering it to Gu ng earnestly.

“ng, have so water,” he said.

“I don’t want any.

I get angry just thinking about Yu Wei.

What’s so great about her?

I don’t understand why so many people gather around her.

Is it just because she has fairer skin, better grades, and knows how to put on an act?

Qin Feng and the others are so bewitched by her, they’re like a bunch of fools.”

The more Gu ng thought about it, the angrier she got.

At graduation, everyone had circled around her, and seeing Yu Wei showing off even on the train just infuriated her more.

Of course, the most crucial part was her feeling incredibly upset inside.

She had always believed she was no worse than Yu Wei, yet Yu Wei had been admitted to Imperial Court Academy while she only got into an ordinary school in Starlight City.

“Don’t be angry; you’ll harm your health,” cautioned Qi Shen hurriedly.

Su Ming couldn’t help but take another look at Gu ng.

This woman was really quite interesting.

This was their first encounter, and she had ranted non-stop about Lin Chuyu; now, she was complaining about Yu Wei.

She really didn’t get along with anybody.

Then Liu Xiao, sowhat uneasy, said to Gu ng,

“Sister Gu, Yu Wei and the others are on this sa train, and I think they’re just in the next carriage.

Plus, she got into Imperial Court Academy.

It wouldn’t be good if she heard us.”

“Hmph, as if getting into Imperial Court Academy is so impressive!

She’s not the only one,” retorted Gu ng, completely unconcerned.

“Sister Gu is right.

I heard that Lin Chuyu also got in,” added Liu Xiao hesitantly, steering the conversation towards Lin Chuyu.

Sure enough, Gu ng beca even more irritated upon hearing Lin Chuyu’s na from Liu Xiao, grinding her teeth as she spoke.

“Don’t ntion her to !

I just don’t understand what General As saw in her.

What’s so good about her?

Giving her a special admission and adding 30 performance points just like that.

Without those, with her elective scores, she would never have gotten into Imperial Court Academy.

It really makes furious.

She’s always been so lucky from a young age….”

Seeing that Gu ng had started on Lin Chuyu, Su Ming’s expression beca even more amused.

She truly had one complaint after another.

Now, as Gu ng continued to rant, her ample chest heaved up and down, and it didn’t help that she was wearing a tight leather jacket.

For a mont, Qi Shen was ogling, dry-mouthed, and even Su Ming couldn’t help but take another look—it was quite a sight, indeed.

Sensing Su Ming’s gaze, Gu ng glanced at him, and for a mont, she felt a bit embarrassed.

After all, ever since the rather handso young man had sat down, she had been doing nothing but cursing.

Seeing Gu ng look his way, Su Ming shifted his gaze away to avoid unnecessary trouble.

“Yeah, I’m also puzzled.

Lin Chuyu was actually specially admitted.

And Li Fubai, who had the best chance, ended up failing,” Liu Xiao said, equally puzzled.

“Fubai, that guy is an idiot, he went to appeal by himself and ended up losing his grade through the appeal.”

Gu ng said with an ironic tone.

“So the rumors are true after all.”

“Not only are they true, what’s most unexpected is that the object of Li Fubai’s appeal turned out to be Su Ming, who’s been following Lin Chuyu around.

But although he lost points for his conduct just like Li Fubai, he still got accepted into Imperial Court Academy as an external student.”

When Gu ng spoke of this, she also found it a bit too fantastical.

“That fat loser, he only got admitted into Imperial Court Academy because of his household registration in the three cities; I could do it too if I were in his place.”

Qi Shen said, very annoyed.

Just thinking about how Su Ming had embarrassed him in front of Gu ng and so many others, he was filled with rage.

Hearing Qi Shen speak of him this way, Su Ming leaned his cheek on one hand and interjected calmly.

“If you had the sa deduction for being from the three cities, could you get in?”

Qi Shen was imdiately at a loss for words.

His score, even with the deductions, was leagues away from the cut-off for Imperial Court Academy’s external student program; he had no chance of getting in.

He was just mouthing off to belittle Su Ming, but he didn’t expect soone to call him out on it.

Angrily, Qi Shen glared at Su Ming and snapped,

“Who are you!

Mind your own business!”

“Why can’t I intervene?

You’re insulting to my face.

Is that polite?”

Su Ming asked indifferently.

Upon hearing this, Gu ng and the others were struck as if by thunder, looking incredulously at Su Ming.

The more they looked, the more he seed to match the description.

Qi Shen suddenly beca flustered and said,

“You’re Su Ming?

Weren’t you really fat?”

“I am Su Ming.

And no, I’m not fat; I have lost weight, and I’m even thinner than you.

So stop calling ‘that fat loser’; it’s extrely rude.”

Su Ming warned Qi Shen with composure.

Qi Shen’s face turned beet red, but the truth was, he didn’t really have the guts to confront Su Ming directly.

Su Ming seed mild-mannered, but his words exerted a strong pressure.

Of course, the most important thing was that Su Ming had been accepted to Imperial Court Academy.

If nothing unexpected happened, he clearly had boundless prospects for the future.

He was actually a bit afraid of encountering Su Ming in the future.

And since he was in the wrong, he simply chose to keep quiet.

At this mont, Gu ng felt a bit uneasy looking at the Su Ming before her, especially since she had just spent so much ti badmouthing Lin Chuyu in front of him.

She had a very deep impression of Su Ming, as he had been very assertive in the club before.

Luckily, Su Ming didn’t seem to pursue the matter further, rely smiling faintly at the three of them before closing his eyes and quietly listening to music.

Gu ng and the others stopped chatting as well, sitting awkwardly, and for a mont the entirety of the train car fell silent.

Ti trickled away, and the train sped on its course.

At this mont in the enclosed cockpit, a middle-aged man with a beard and a face full of wrinkles was operating the train.

Since there was no intelligent system to assist, the conductor needed to constantly control the train, ready to react at any mont in case of an ergency.

“Conductor Karon, would you like to take a break?

I can take over.”

At this ti, a considerably younger man, dressed in the train service uniform, asked.
