Bao Ku saw Hagett and the others being forcibly taken away, and he thanked them with a smile on his face.
"Thank you, Master Toku."
At this mont, Toku revealed a sinister smile, staring at Bao Ku and the others, and said,
"No need to thank , now it’s your turn. How much did you steal?"
"Uh, Master Toku, not much, we gave it all to you."
Bao Ku replied unnaturally.
"Cut the crap and hand it over, or don’t bla for getting rough."
Toku threatened fiercely.
The surrounding soldiers also approached nacingly.
Bao Ku quickly pulled out two rolls of money from his body, smiling apologetically at Toku, and said,
"Please, Master Toku. We only stole two rolls, one for each of us."
"Hand it all over."
Toku said unceremoniously.
"Alright."
Though Bao Ku felt a deep pang of pain in his heart, he still handed the money to Toku.
"Hmph, be more careful next ti."
Toku took the money and left with his people.
Watching Toku and the others leave, Bao Ku’s smile faded, and he spat on the ground in anger.
"Bah, what a piece of work."
....
anwhile, inside the mining base’s warehouse.
Block after block of roughly slted Vibranium was neatly placed in chanical boxes, emitting a beautifully golden glow.
"So much Vibranium."
At this mont, a middle-aged man in gray Exoskeleton Armor, with dark skin, prominent cheekbones, and a face full of scars, looked greedily at the extracted Vibranium and spoke.
"Master Yolu, you’ve been working hard guarding this place. With so much Vibranium here, it’s fine if we underreport a little."
The thin man with a lon face next to him said with a sycophantic smile.
"Conton, you’re getting more sensible, haha!"
Yolu looked at his adjutant and praised him happily.
"It’s all thanks to your teaching, sir."
Conton replied humbly.
Rumble~
Suddenly, a huge explosion sounded, and the entire mining base shook slightly.
The shrill alarm sounded imdiately.
The smile on Yolu’s face instantly faded, revealing an expression of displeasure.
At this mont, a soldier rushed in to report to Yolu.
"Lord Yolu, it’s bad, the Rebel Army is attacking again!"
"Hmph, coming again? They really don’t learn, Conton, co with !"
Yolu said to Conton.
"Yes, sir."
Conton replied quickly with a slight grin.
Yolu then left with Conton.
...
Deep in the dark underground mine.
Hagett and the others huddled together, trying to stay close to the relatively sturdy mine walls.
The entire mine trembled slightly, and dust kept falling.
Mi Fei, hearing the faint sound of explosions, said with so fear,
"Grandpa, it sounds like they’re fighting again up there."
"It’s okay."
Hagett weakly comforted Mi Fei.
Bill and the others were also very nervous and scared. Although the defenders of their kingdom weren’t anything good, at least there was a slim chance of survival. But if they were taken over by the Rebel Army, it would be the end.
...
Outside the mining base.
A towering twenty-ter tal wall encircled the entire base, with a heap of idle mining equipnt inside.
Boom!
Accompanied by a loud bang.
The tal wall was blown apart, and groups of Beast Teeth chas charged in under the lead of a Third Generation cha·Beast.
"Quick, stop them!"
Units of Iron Heads and Giant Forces rushed forward.
The two sides clashed and engaged in intense battle.
The leader of the Rebel Army, Jibo, piloted the Third Generation cha·Beast cha, violently swinging the Alloy Giant Blade, and forcefully cleaving open a Giant Force.
Boom~
A massive explosion swept across.
"Kill them all hard!"
Jibo shouted excitedly in the communication channel.
At this mont, a Third Generation cha·Green Wings and a Third Generation cha·Gun Knight, accompanied by dozens of Iron Guards, rushed out.
Jibo, seeing the chas that rushed out, stopped imdiately and said arrogantly,
"Yolu, you cowardly turtle finally decided to co out."
Yolu, hearing Jibo’s words, was infuriated and replied sarcastically,
"Jibo, you loser, how many tis have you attacked? Haven’t you always fled in disarray? Are you planning to leave your head here this ti?"
"Haha, don’t worry, it’s definitely you who will die this ti. I ca prepared."
Jibo replied arrogantly.
Yolu was taken aback, a very bad premonition rising in his heart.
At this mont, Yolu’s Scanning Device suddenly emitted a piercing alarm, and the screen showed one red dot after another.
Before Yolu could react, a Fourth Generation cha·Fierce Beast descended powerfully with a swarm of chas.
Yolu looked at the Fourth Generation cha·Fierce Beast, its shoulder painted with a Red Star, and shouted in horror,
"Imperial Army!"
The soldiers of the Tasji Kingdom at the scene were also terrified and spoke in the communication channel.
"Why, why are the Imperial Army here?"
"It’s over."
...
"What are you afraid of, nobody is to retreat!"
Yolu suppressed his fear and shouted at all his subordinates.
The garrison here was nurous; if they couldn’t win, they could at least hold them off for a while. As soon as reinforcents arrived, the Imperial Army would be dood.
At this point, Conton, piloting the Gun Knight, quietly retreated to Yolu’s rear, then raised the lance in his hand, directly pointing at the Green Wing cha’s back and warned smugly,
"Don’t move!"
Yolu was instantly dumbfounded, then angrily shouted,
"Conton, you dare betray , after all I’ve done for you?"
"Done for ? Just those scraps you gave ? It’s a joke; I don’t even bother wasting words with you. Make everyone stop resisting, or don’t bla for being impolite."
