{Alexandria, Egypt.

Within the Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs

Current Day}

It’s quiet inside the Hall of Caracalla of the post apocalyptic Middle Eastern city.

Suddenly, the familiar snarling and gnashing of Icen echoes throughout the first level to the ancient tombs.

Dashing and pushing each other out of the way, 5 of the smaller version of ice aliens run through the underground tunnels.

Their claws from both their hands and feet are scratching the painted/engraved tombs.

However, there doesn’t seem to be anyone in front of them that they are chasing.

In fact, the hallway behind them illuminates a yellow orange hue and 2 Icen have their heads blow/lted away by collateral damage, by a direct hit from a single orange glowing SeiõrShot.

The other three scramble through the dark burial grounds.

The high pitched voice of an aggravated little girl echoes as another SeiõrShot hits the neck of a third Iceman.

Little Girl’s Voice: "Oh, and you think you’re sooo smart, huh AgaMnon?"

The cranium of the alien spins in the air but at it’s apex, gets blasted by another projectile made of the sa color of energy.

Little Girl Voice: "Let us all never forget, ’younger sister’, that if it wasn’t for the rest of us stepping in, Laban would’ve made you look like a complete idiot!

So, ha!"

As the last two Icen try to make their unlikely escape, deeper into the historical catacombs, the one in front trips over a jar of glass shards. Making the other behind him, fall down as well.

An incredibly incrental growing orange illuminance is coming their way, but as the retreating monsters look back, the entire hallway gets filled and blackened by the unbelievably hot Seiõr released.

Little Girl’s Voice: "Oh. You. Bitch!

You all promised to never bring that up!

It was 500 years ago you...youuu..."

There is no trace left of the two unfortunately fated Icen, and irreversible damage done to one of humanity’s most cherished wonders of the world.

Only seeing the back of the culprits head, she has golden curls on the left side of her scalp and straight black shoulder length hair on the right.

A floating ball of bright white light follows behind and to the left of a little girl.

The sa girl last seen sailing at the point of an entire naval fleet, arriving to the important diterranean city.

Little Girl’s Voice: "I swear, after MamMon fails, I’ll make sure you never get to even see Skalmönd, AgaMnon!"

Current Day}

Behind a stone wall, overlooking the location to the ancient Mycenae ruins, a black cloaked figure is partially obscured by the hole rittled wall, but the giggle from a grown woman is heard.

AgaMnon DæMon: *giggle* "Well, do make sure there aren’t any stains left in your cloak when you et her, ’Little L’Orient’.

*giggle*"

Another wave of lava-like Seiõr floods the stone and tal burial grounds.

L’Orient DæMon: "RRRRRAAAGGHHHGHHHGGG!"

{Present Day, Mt. Decima,

Higher-Class Residential District 10PM}

[General Nephilim’s Ho]

On the roof, sohow in a more safe spot towards the connecting top, not the edge, Silpheed and Maniae are sitting side by side, in silence.

The fake sounds of crickets chirping adds a sowhat ’realism’ to the otherwise, life sized, depressing distopian diorama of human civilization before the Icen began attacking.

Maniae is laying on his back, hands behind his head. He’s at an angle to where he is looking directly and firmly at the impressive projected imitation of the moon.

Clearly in deep thought.

Silpheed sits in silence, unsure of how to act as the person soone else can vent their thoughts to, like Nephilim (or Daisuki).

Watching with their own uncovered ’blood red’ eye, the General’s ’partner in cri’ waits for the thinking teen to speak.

Silpheed notices and briefly admires the boy’s pair of red eyes. The sa red, reminding the life-long follower, of Nephilim’s correlating optics, before the man had acquired an IceEye.

Making the assistant rember...

Silpheed: "Ahr- ouu- zgrrd- doo?

...

...

Dat- ouu’ll- ehnd- uhhb- urrdin- zomonn- ouu’ve- nefrr- wahndid- doo- dizzaboin- ahz- rehdroboozun- furr- zayvin- orr- eyeff-?"

The young man doesn’t answer and his eyes narrow keeping his gaze upward.

Silpheed: "Ouu- go- eiizii- ahn- Arai- whn- ouu- doo- fiieye-, doon’d- ouu-?"

Maniae jerks upright from his laxed position, upset with Silpheed’s assumption.

Maniae: "No, of course not! I would never go easy on Arai!

I respect him too much and he would definitely be able to tell!

...But, that’s the problem...

I truly appreciate what both Mr. Nephilim and Arai have done for , to make feel appreciative of my life, like when my brother was still alive.

But if Arai gets swallowed up by his unreasonable hatred, and distrust in authority...

...

Hey, lady...can I ask you sothing?"

Silpheed gently nods in response.

Maniae: "Other than Mr. Nephilim, have you ever had soone who’s important to you?

Soone who wasn’t your actual sibling, but you would go through any sort of pain for them anyway?"

Silpheed’s vision rises and now their single red eye, is staring at the ’Manufactured Moon’ above.

Silpheed: "Yeh-.."

...

Maniae: "My older brother, he was really cool, and incredibly brave.

I admired him when he left for the military, cuz in my heart, I truly believed the man I viewed as a superhero, was going there to save people by himself, and he would co back ho to play basketball with .

But the day I was told he died, was the day there was nothing important left for in this world.

Nothing that made feel appreciative of the existence I was given..."

Letting the grieving boy continue, Silpheed is picturing the individual who was important to them.

Maniae: "...But 3 years ago, after my last beating from my father, I ran away.

I didn’t know where to go, or what I was going to do.

I was scared.

Then, on that sa day, I t Arai.

I had finally found a friend, a brother, and a rival all in one mont...

But right now, because of our wavering opinions on Mr. Nephilim and the opportunity we’ve been given, I feel like it’s getting closer to the day he tries to abandon this life...without ."

Within their waistband is the manga volu, and Silpheed starts configuring a possibile response.

Maniae: "I understand from his view point, everyone treated him like shit, so he has trust issues, but because of his past that he can’t let go...

*sigh*

If he heard right now, he’d tell to go screw myself and that I’m a traitor for even consulting in you.

But I can’t let him go off on his own...

He’s strong, with potential to be really strong, but we can’t even beat Mr. Nephilim or you, and I’m afraid he’s going to get killed.

Or worse, beco soone he’s truly not..."

Silpheed: "Zoh- ahhl- daht- draynn- n- viidnn-...?"

Maniae: "I fight and I train, because I have to get stronger.

Not for my own benefit, I don’t care about my own life, but in case I need to protect my friends, from anybody.

Even if it’s from themselves.

I want to be confident enough to know I’ll be able to stop him, just in case he does drive himself over the edge of insanity one day...

But it’s useless.

He’d beat , even if I broke every bone in his body.

Arai’s willpower when it cos to fighting is simply amazing.

It’s almost like it’s in his blood, but ..."

There is another brief mont of silence until a breath is pushed through Silpheed’s face mask as a pity sigh.

Silpheed: "Rehh- mii- dell- ouu- ahh- ztorrie-, gid."

Silpheed takes a mont to process how they want to tell their story, but Maniae waits in anticipation.

Silpheed: "Whahhl- Nef-ah-um Zr- wzz- ahweh- vo- ah- wahll, Aii- wahz- wahnz- nn- jrrg- uhv- brodeggdnn- dah- vrri- zmmwuhn- Aii- zahww- ahz- mah- zibbin."

Maniae: "What happened?"

Silpheed: "Aii- wahz- nn- zhjong- nnahf- doo- brotegg- err-."

Maniae gets a sad look from the muffled reveal.

Silpheed puts their hand lightly on their concealed, mutilated chest.

Silpheed: "Zmmwuhn- Aii- wahz- wi’nn- doo- vee- nnnii- bainn- vorr-, bah- Aii- no- onngrr- wzz- veeii’nn- nnnii- bainn- ah- aww- wahnz-dey- wrr- gunn-.

Zmmwuhn-, uddr- dnn- Nef-ah-um Zr-, oouu- druzzded- mii- morr- den- nniiwuhn- ehlzz-, nn- Aii- vaiild- demm-..."

Silpheed’s red eye swells with tears, but a soft hand lands on their shoulder. Turning their head, Silpheed sees Maniae making direct eye contact with his superior.

Maniae: "I’m sorry...

But now, I think I kinda figured out why you are reliable and always so dependable to Mr. Nephilim.

I don’t want to fail neither Mr. Nephilim, or Arai, but I can’t be confident that I won’t until I get stronger.

Please, Big Sis, can you help train so I can get strong enough to be dependable to everyone?"

Silpheed is clearly blushing from being called "Big Sis" but shakes her head out of it, and gives the good hearted, ambitious red eyed young man an over animated nod and a visible puff of determination squeezes through the face covering.

Maniae: "Alright! Can we train right now?!"

Silpheed is uncomfortable with the idea, while the hyperactive teen is still trying to convince them.

Unknowing to them, from inside the house, soone walks away from the open window. No longer interested in listening to the two new pals.
