Chen Huaying arrogantly covered her mouth with a laugh.
Han Xiaoqiu’s face flushed with anger, Su Yun might be clueless, but at least she was smart.
"I’ve always been good friends with your mom."
"You know my mom? Do you know my mom’s na?" Sheng Ning retorted.
Han Xiaoqiu paused for a mont, wondering if she had committed so taboo. Could it be that Su Yun and she didn’t get along? This speculation made her silently curse her misstep. She should have investigated beforehand. If things were really bad, wasn’t she just stepping into a trap?
"Her mom’s na is Shen Luhua, do you know her?" Chen Huaying looked at Han Xiaoqiu expectantly. Sheng Ning lightly nudged Chen Huaying, signaling her not to speak.
She wasn’t fond of talking about family matters everywhere.
Not many people knew her parents’ nas, and Chen Huaying only found out this ti when An’an enrolled and filled out the paperwork.
Han Xiaoqiu staggered back a step and bumped into An’an, who had just entered with the groceries.
"What’s wrong with you?" An’an, holding floral water, looked at her curiously.
Han Xiaoqiu looked as if she had seen a ghost, staring incredulously at Sheng Ning, then turning to An’an. Her eyes flashed back and forth between the two, unable to co back to her senses for a long ti.
An’an thought she was acting strange by nature, placed the mosquito coil on the cabinet, and handed the floral water to Chen Huaying. "I can’t reach my back, can you help apply it?"
"Sure!" Chen Huaying, being brusque, asked An’an to turn around and lifted her shirt to start applying it.
Sheng Ning teased, "Can’t you two be a bit more civilized? Apply it inside the room?"
Han Xiaoqiu stared fixedly at An’an’s back, at that small red birthmark she couldn’t forget for the rest of her life. Suddenly, she turned and ran, as if a wolf were chasing her.
Amidst everyone’s shock and bewildernt, she left in disarray.
Sheng Ning followed her outside, watching Han Xiaoqiu’s back, frowning. Strange, why was Han Xiaoqiu acting so unusually? Was she just frightened?
What in the house could have scared her?
Chen Huaying, having helped An’an apply the floral water, ca out, "What’s with her? Why did she run off so fast?"
"No idea!" Sheng Ning shook her head, speculating, "Could it be you scared her?"
"No way! She seed normal when she saw !"
"Then was it An’an who scared her?" The more she thought about it, the more sothing felt off.
"That can’t be it either! Clearly, she was brought up by An’an. If she were scared by An’an, she would have been scared downstairs."
Sheng Ning thought for a long ti, but still couldn’t figure it out.
"Could she have ntal issues?"
"No."
"Why did she co looking for you today? I doubt it was just to offer an apology."
"You’re overthinking. People like her never realize they’ve done wrong. In her mind, she’s always right, and everyone else is wrong." Sheng Ning had seen many people like Han Xiaoqiu in her past life.
"She probably wanted to save her daughter after failing to get help elsewhere, so she ca to you. She really knows who to approach, realizing only you can help now."
"Why are you saying this too?" Sheng Ning truly didn’t feel that her words carried weight, yet Su Hai and Chen Huaying kept insisting so.
Chen Huaying gave her a disdainful look.

After Labor Day, it was the agreed day between Principal Feng and Hai Yunfeng, from 1:00 to 2:00 in the afternoon, sixty minutes in total. For this, the academic president specially arranged a small classroom for Hai Yunfeng to teach.
Joining the class were also a professor from the school’s physics departnt and a professor from the mathematics departnt.
