"Xiao Ning, be strong. You should learn from An’an not to panic when facing situations."
Sheng Ning wiped her tears again, "I’m just hopeless, what can I do?" She wasn’t usually soone who cried easily; she didn’t know why she had beco so sentintal lately.
"Bring all the involved parties back to the police station." Zhao Changqi nodded apologetically to Xu Qigang.
He supported the person and exited the scene.
An’an, who was already in handcuffs and wearing Sheng Ning’s coat, was being escorted to the car by two policen. As she passed them, she said coldly, "Sister, call my mom and tell her I killed soone, I killed Han Xiaoqiu."
The icy tone and attitude deepened the doubts in Xu Qigang’s heart.
"Okay, I’ll call right away." Sheng Ning nodded, worriedly reminding her, "Don’t...don’t worry, I’ll save you. I will definitely save you."
An’an didn’t say a word, bowed her head, and was taken away in the police car.
"Xiao Ning, didn’t you notice sothing off about An’an?" Xu Qigang finally voiced his doubts.
"It...it seems a bit off, but in a situation like this, being off is normal, right?"
Xu Qigang contemplated for a mont and didn’t continue the topic, "Don’t be sad anymore, now go call Dad and Mom!"
"How...how do I explain it to Mom? I promised her I would take good care of An’an, and yet...this happened." Sheng Ning was almost overwheld by her guilt.
"It’s all Han Xiaoqiu’s fault, they tried to harm first."
"Yes! An’an was just acting in self-defense, don’t worry, it’ll be fine."
"Really?"
Xu Qigang nodded seriously, "Really!"
At the sa ti, Qin Yue was at the train station to pick soone up. His second sister had been clamoring to see him for a long ti, but hadn’t gotten a leave of absence before, and their parents didn’t agree. Now that she finally got approval, it really troubled him.
She wasn’t there to see him, but clearly to scout out the situation.
Qin Yue’s second sister, Qin Shuang, was a bright and beautiful woman, also working for the union as a correspondent. Wearing a formal work uniform, she stood out as she walked out from the crowd.
Qin Yue spotted her right away and sat in his chair without moving.
"What? You don’t seem happy to see your second sister?" Qin Shuang looked down at her brother, "You look thinner, have you not been eating well?"
"No such thing?" He scoffed, "Hurry up, I have class to attend."
"Attending classes? I heard you’ve been skipping classes to follow so girl around all day?"
"That’s not following around; that’s pursuing." Qin Yue rolled his eyes at his sister and corrected her, "And, she’s not just so girl; she’s your future sister-in-law."
"At first, when we heard you were serious, we didn’t believe it, but now it seems true."
"So you’re here this ti just for this matter?" Qin Yue stood up, his tall stature instantly shifting the dynamics between the two. Qin Shuang had been looking down initially, but now had to tilt her head up.
"If it was just for fun, it doesn’t matter, but if you’re serious, it’s not okay. That girl isn’t a match for you."
"It’s not that she’s not a match for , it’s that I’m not a match for her."
"Just her?" Qin Shuang couldn’t help but sneer. Her brother was the hope of the Qin Family, a deputy director of the Southern Union Special Action Departnt; who wouldn’t be a match?
"She’s outstanding, extrely, extraordinarily outstanding. Even if she’s a penniless, dull village girl, as long as I’ve set my eyes on her, she’s better than anyone else."
