She had seen many sharpshooters, Living Yama and the Young Chairman among them. But the only one she admired unreservedly was Sheng Ning, whose ability to shoot without aiming seed like a gift from God.
"Oh! Then let’s give it a try."
Next to the training ground was the shooting range. Xilin University claid to be the best school in the world, and the scale of its shooting range was astonishingly large. The facility was fully equipped, with more firearms than any other place in the world.
When the group arrived, there were still many students attending shooting classes inside; the place was large and crowded.
"Everyone stop, stop." The Colonel clapped his hands.
Jones insisted on not going to the dical room just to see Gu Yunbo and Sheng Ning’s miserable outco. Seizing the opportunity, she mocked loudly, "Today, let’s see how the losers make fools of themselves."
Arthur glared angrily at Jones.
"Hahaha..."
The shooting range echoed with waves of mocking laughter, which made Gu Yunbo fu with rage. Sheng Ning also furrowed her brows, the feeling was truly unpleasant. She ardently longed for her country to beco powerful quickly, believing that only with national strength could the people possess more sovereignty and dignity.
"Don’t be angry," she whispered to comfort Gu Yunbo. "Everything now is temporary. In the future, our country will be strong, strong enough that no one in the world will dare look down on us."
"Really?"
"Yes!" Sheng Ning nodded, imitating Gu Yunbo’s earlier movent to flex her wrist, and walked determinedly towards the firearms.
When soone saw her move, they imdiately aid at her.
"Let her take it!" The school leader waved their hand, and the person withdrew.
Sheng Ning selected an assault rifle and a small handgun. First, she familiarized herself with the feel and weight, and as she did so, all eyes in the shooting range were fixed intently on her.
Sheng Ning silently surveyed her surroundings, morizing the position of each target. Then, she slowly raised the handgun and turned her back.
"Oh my God! What is she trying to do?"
"Not looking at the target?"
"Too arrogant."
The crowd couldn’t help but emit incredulous sounds, while Jones glared daggers at Sheng Ning, wishing she could bore a hole into her.
The school leader’s eyes flickered with an almost imperceptible gleam, and then he smiled with interest.
"What is Sheng trying to do?" Arthur, confused, whispered to Gu Yunbo, "You two better not cause more trouble, or I won’t be able to protect you."
"It’s okay, have faith in her."
"I originally had a lot of confidence, but now it’s completely gone." Arthur was frightened by Sheng Ning’s act of not looking at the targets.
Everyone’s focus was on Sheng Ning’s hand gripping the gun, their hearts subconsciously tensing up.
Soone swallowed audibly, and at the sudden sound, Sheng Ning finally pulled the trigger.
"Bang bang bang..." The sound of bullets firing in rapid succession filled the air; all six bullets were shot, and Sheng Ning swiftly set down the gun in her hand, then picked up the machine gun and shot directly at the moving target.
This moving target had been activated by soone in training just before their sudden arrival, and nobody had ti to shut it down.
She fired swiftly, not needing to aim, and a series of bullets flew towards the target. Each shot caused the muzzle to move slightly. If not watched closely, it was impossible to see clearly.
