The man stopped, and one of them grabbed his collar and effortlessly lifted him up.
Julian stared wide-eyed in horror, intimidated by the imposing presence and terrifying strength of his opponent. At 6 foot 3 inches and weighing at least 220 pounds, Julian was a big, hefty man; yet the other, evidently slimr, could lift him with ease.
"Who... Who are you people?"
"We’re the ones who want your life." Xu Qigang’s eyes flashed with murderous intent, like a reaper from hell. He suddenly thrust his knee, and from Julian’s body ca a bone-cracking sound that sent shivers through anyone’s teeth.
"Ah..." A soul-rending scream erupted, and Julian passed out from the pain. He thought losing consciousness was a relief, but then another vicious kick landed at a deadly spot, forcing him awake again.
"Who... Who are you really?" he scread resentfully, "Why do you want to kill ?"
"You’ve forgotten your own dirty deeds?" Renault kicked him again viciously, "Daring to kidnap my sister-in-law, you’re literally tired of living! When you dared to act, you should have prepared for this consequence."
Suddenly, Julian rembered and looked in horror at the cold, ruthless man. "You... You’re Sheng Ning’s man." He knew all along, from the mont Sheng Ning escaped, he knew he was in deep trouble.
First, he was suppressed by the Feng Family, and now Sheng Ning’s man had co for revenge. He was truly bewitched; why did he have to be reckless and kidnap her? Had he known she had such powerful connections, he’d be crazy to do such a thing.
"Not entirely stupid." Xu Qigang raised the gun in his hand, aiming it at Julian’s temple, "You deserve to die!"
"Bang!" The gunshot was drowned out by the relentless cheers of people partying all night in the bar.
Julian stared with lifeless eyes, taking his last breath.
"Commander, where are we headed?"
"To the tropolitan Hotel."
"To see my sister-in-law?" Renault asked excitedly.
Xu Qigang’s icy deanor softened with a hint of a smile, "Mm! She has big problems tonight."
"Then let’s hurry."
"Mm!"
The two n left as calmly as they had arrived.
Feng Manor
Housekeeper Xing changed clothes, ready to head out, and happened to see Mr. Feng sitting in the living room reading the newspaper.
"Sir, are you really not going today?" In the estate, aside from bodyguards and servants, the young masters and misses had all gone to the auction. The Feng family’s benefits were excellent; everyone’s living allowance was more than enough for them to splurge.
"No, I’m too old!" Mr. Feng put down the newspaper, looking at Housekeeper Xing’s well-tailored tuxedo with a trace of comfort in his eyes, "Xiao Xing, unknowingly you’ve grown old too."
"Yes indeed!" Housekeeper Xing reminisced about childhood, showing a hint of nostalgia.
"Hurry and find soone to marry! Can’t be single your whole life."
"Sir, I once vowed to dedicate my life to the Feng Family." Housekeeper Xing said earnestly.
"That won’t do." Mr. Feng chuckled, "I want more than just your life; I want your sons, your grandsons too!"
Housekeeper Xing was taken aback and bowed, "Sir, you’re right!" Apparently, he needed a bride.
"By the way, today’s the last day, isn’t it?" Mr. Feng said casually.
A fleeting emotion of fear flashed through Housekeeper Xing’s eyes. Throughout these days, he had been tornted. To him, the test Mr. Feng gave Miss Sheng Ning was completely unfair; many tis, he wanted to warn Miss Sheng Ning, but his position didn’t allow it.
