"Don’t mention it, don’t mention it." Just a nod was enough to make the confidential secretary happy for half a day, and he even raised his eyebrows at Hai Yunfeng, earning an eye-roll.
"When are we leaving?" An’an glanced at the clock on the wall, impatiently urging, "If you don’t leave soon, I’ll go by myself." Initially, she had taken a leave from her professor planning to pick up her sister herself, but unexpectedly, the airport was under control, and nobody could enter without a pass. Since she left in a hurry, she had no choice but to ask Hai Yunfeng for help.
"We’ll leave immediately." Hai Yunfeng greeted the confidential secretary, "Prepare the car!"
"Yes!"
After the confidential secretary left, Hai Yunfeng reassured, "An’an, don’t worry! Your brother hasn’t e yet, we need to wait for him."
"Is my brother ing too?" An’an’s eyes lit up, as she really liked Hai Shen.
Hai Yunfeng suddenly felt jealous of his son. What a brat, totally ungrateful. Bao’er didn’t like him but apparently liked that stinky kid, truly deserves a spanking.
"He’s not ing, let’s go first!" Hai Yunfeng said as he got up. The office had heating, and it was warm inside. He was wearing a cashmere sweater, but when going out, he put on his coat.
"Let’s go!" Hai Yunfeng casually handed over An’an’s clothes to her, urging, "I heard your sister came back with the Feng Family Head, and there’s a wele party organized by both the political and business circles, that’s why the airport is under lockdown. If we go late, we might not be able to squeeze in." This brat not ing is perfect, don’t hang around Bao’er unnecessarily in the future.
Better not be an eyesore.
"Weren’t we supposed to wait for my brother?" An’an suddenly got confused, following Hai Yunfeng out of the office, still feeling something was amiss. She was smart, with an astonishing memory but sometimes got misled by her own powerful thinking. In terms of human relationships, she could occasionally be a bit slow, especially with Hai Yunfeng’s twisted personality, nobody would imagine he’d be jealous of his own son.
Thus, one could conclude that...this...must not be a biological son.
The two left together, and just as they walked down the steps, Hai Shen drove up himself, getting out of the car he was touched seeing his father and sister waiting at the door for him.
"Dad, how could you pull sister to wait at the door for me? Outside is cold, even if anxious, you shouldn’t let sister e out." Hai Shen took off his sheepskin gloves and forcefully put them on An’an. "How is it? Not cold now, right?"
"Not cold now." An’an shook her head, though she didn’t say it, but now she understood.
It was Hai Yunfeng who didn’t want to wait for brother.
Hai Yunfeng glared at his son, who wanted to wait for him? Who wanted to wait for him? Truly self-delusional.
"Alright, sister, let’s get on the car! Take the minister’s special vehicle, there’s heating inside." Hai Shen very proactively pulled An’an into the car, siblings sat in the back seat, leaving Hai Yunfeng to sit in the front passenger seat.
So damn annoying, finally an opportunity to get close to Bao’er stolen by this brat.
Confidential secretary sat at the driver’s seat with a bitter smile, "Leader, you’re sitting in the front passenger seat?"
Hai Yunfeng glared at the confidential secretary, feeling that being a minister lacked any face, which leader sits in the front passenger seat? Recently, his personal image seems to be in a steep decline.
"If I don’t sit in the front passenger seat, where would I sit? Driver’s seat?"
