The two walked to the dormitory, and walking together with Shen Jianguo made Zhou Xuelian feel ecstatic, as if she wanted to look down on everyone with her chin.

“Of course, don’t call.” Qin Cuifen’s voice was so loud that it drew everyone in the dormitory to turn their heads and look at her, including Sheng Ning, who was editing a script.
She lay on the desk, unconsciously twirling her hair, glanced over, and then returned to her work indifferently.
Qin Cuifen’s gaze, filled with resentnt, rested on Sheng Ning. The two of them had officially fallen out. There was no need for pretenses now.
“But Shen Jianguo is still waiting outside! What if he asks soone else to call her?”
“It’s okay. Leave this matter to .”
“Why should I leave it to you? To make you look like the good person?” Zhou Xuelian was no fool.
“What would you say if you went? I imagine whatever you say would make him unhappy.”
Qin Cuifen scared Zhou Xuelian enough that she dared not go. After promising to speak well of her, Zhou Xuelian finally got the opportunity.
After changing her clothes and fixing her shiny black braids, Qin Cuifen confidently walked out of the room. She spotted Shen Jianguo standing near the entrance, not too far away on a small plaza.
Qin Cuifen’s heartbeat skipped a few beats, and her legs felt weak. She recalled what she intended to say in her mind, ensuring it would make Shen Jianguo dislike Sheng Ning from then on, before approaching with a smile.
“Sheng Ning…” Shen Jianguo, hearing footsteps, turned around eagerly but his eyes couldn’t hide the disappointnt when he saw it was Qin Cuifen.
“Mr. Shen, it’s ! Cuifen.”
“Hello, Cuifen.” Shen Jianguo had interacted with her before, and since Qin Cuifen was a good friend of Sheng Ning, he had a good impression of her.
“Mr. Shen, may I call you Brother Jian Guo?” Qin Cuifen said with a shy and timid look, not forgetting to steal a bashful glance at Shen Jianguo.
