Chapter 393: Chapter 403: Two Gate Gods

“I did.” Chen Huaying responded listlessly, her mind occupied with worries for both Liu Yilan and Sheng Ning – neither side giving her peace of mind!

Outside Sheng Ning’s dormitory, two Gate Gods stood solemnly, one on each side, causing passersby to glance over curiously. Just one look was enough to make their cheeks flush and hearts race, then they couldn’t help but sneak another peek.

“No way!” Lu Dabao replied gruffly. “How many tis do I have to say it? I’m not letting you in. When Chen Huaying left, she made promise to guard Sheng Ning well.”
“I just want to see her.”
“No way!” Lu Dabao stood his ground firmly, not letting anyone through.
Su Huai’an pursed his thin lips slightly, his handso face filled with sorrow and intensity. He glanced at ng Ping and warned, “ng Ping, we don’t need you stirring things up here. What happens to Sheng Ning is the Su Family’s business, it’s none of your concern.”
“How is it none of my concern?” ng Ping scoffed. “I get the feeling that Sheng Ning really dislikes your Su Family.”
“She’s my sister. Whether she likes us or not is not for you to say.” Su Huai’an was a very stubborn person; in this regard, he was much like Mr. Su.
Once he made up his mind, he would never change.
“I’m not so sure about that. The situation is still unclear; maybe your sister is Qin Cuifen,” ng Ping said mockingly.
Su Huai’an’s strong brows furrowed, a flash of disdain in his eyes. But he diverted the topic, “ng Ping, you should leave! I will absolutely not let you get near my sister. I won’t comnt on how you play with other won, but if you’re thinking of making moves on my sister, you’ll have to get past first.”
“Cousin, I’m not playing around. I’m serious.”
