"You can forget about it!" cried one student. "Do you know how many girls secretly have a crush on Professor Su at school? It’s countless! Even the girls from the Song and Dance Troupe next door have their eyes on him, but none of them ever get a chance."
"Stop it. Chen Huaying isn’t so innocent lamb."
"Is an innocent lamb supposed to handle tough situations?"

Chen Huaying was being dragged by Su Huai’an all the way to the front gate, right beside Qianjin, when she tried to walk away but was pulled back by Su Huai’an with such force that she stumbled into his arms; both of them froze in shock.
Su Huai’an’s expression remained unchanged, but his eyes widened.
"Professor Su, you’re going too far." Don’t think that because I wouldn’t dare to offend you, you can order her around.
"Cough cough... Ningning is in the hospital, I wanted to ask you to co with ."
"What? What are you talking about, hospitalized? What happened, how could she suddenly be in the hospital? When did this happen? What caused it?" Chen Huaying’s barrage of questions finally made Su Huai’an’s facial expression soften a bit.

"Yes!" Sheng Ning wasn’t flustered; instead, she nodded with a smile, seeming in a good mood.
"The heck."
"Don’t swear." Sheng Ning frowned slightly. "I’ve heard all about it, you’re now the big shot at the National Security University. You’ve even learned to curse. Be careful, your grandfather might beat you up when you get ho."
"I’ll say it if I want to, what are you going to do?" Chen Huaying’s eyes were red with anger, sothing so big had happened and everyone knew but her.
Claiming to be her good friend, but actually not at all.
"Ouch..." Sheng Ning grimaced and clutched her stomach, scaring Chen Huaying into forgetting her anger, running to the bedside and asking with panic, "What’s wrong? Does the wound hurt? Shall I call the doctor?"
"No need, no need."
"Are you sure?"

Su Huai’an stood at the door of the hospital room, his facial expression complex. Should he tell Xu Qigang to watch out for Chen Huaying?
"Professor Su." Sheng Ning put away her expression, looked up at Su Huai’an, and nodded politely but distantly.
Su Huai’an gathered his thoughts and placed the insulated lunch box on the table, seemingly casually asking, "Where’s Captain Xu?"
"He was called away by the President."
Su Huai’an nodded. Xu Qigang’s suspension for investigation was actually the result of multiple factors contending. He guessed it wouldn’t be long before he was reinstated.
Since there wasn’t much ti left for lunch, Su Huai’an and Chen Huaying left in a hurry. Just before they left, Chen Huaying deliberately dawdled till the last mont. While Su Huai’an was away, she whispered, "I investigated Bai Tian’e for a month, and strangely found nothing. Isn’t that weird?"
Sheng Ning, aware of Chen Huaying’s skill in tracking people, realized that if she couldn’t find anything, it ant Bai Oulan was more cautious than they expected.
"Don’t rush, you should leave this matter alone for now."
