"Yang Xiaoman was in a bad mood, thankfully she was released early, and she cried for half the day." She had comforted her for a long ti, but she hadn’t expected the usually calm and talented Yang Xiaoman to act like a stubborn child.
Wu Yoli had always felt childish and insignificant in front of Sheng Ning, but now in front of Yang Xiaoman, she suddenly felt much more confident.
"Really? I heard she really gave Hai Lan a dressing-down, and she cries?" Dabao used to live with Yang Xiaoman and didn’t think she cried.
An idea struck Sheng Ning, "Maybe she’s just afraid of the dark?"
So the three of them fell silent, thinking Sheng Ning’s point was very valid.

The next day, the issues concerning Hai Lan escalated. Training at the General Union Song and Dance Troupe continued as usual, but it seed like everyone knew sothing, even the trainers couldn’t hide their worries.
Yang Wenying was a strong and sharp person, but she was responsible and dependable, and in critical tis, she made female comrades unconsciously rely on her. Though they were usually afraid of her, they still respected this leader deeply.
Sheng Ning resud official training, from morning yoga to morning basics, to afternoon routine practice. She was more responsible and more dedicated than before her marriage.
Qiu Bai had been worried that her being married would distract her, but the results pleasantly surprised her. This girl truly was a promising dancer; given ti, she could attend higher institutions and larger platforms for further studies and would undoubtedly shine a bright light.
After not seeing Yang Wenying all morning, the female comrades grew more anxious. At lunch, as Sheng walked along, she could hear whispers,
"I heard Hai Lan is still in the hospital, her mom even ca to stay with her."
"Do you think she’ll really be unable to dance for life? I kind of don’t believe it."
"I don’t believe it either."
"But...the ankle is critical, it really could cause permanent damage," soone whispered, only to be attacked by everyone else.
"She deserves it, after all, she collided with Lu Dabao herself, why should she throw dirt on the General Team?"
"Exactly, the General Team may be strict, but they definitely wouldn’t harm us."
Sheng Ning walked slower as she listened, unable to help herself. Soone sharp-eyed spotted her and greeted her proactively.
"Hello Sheng Ning."
She was startled, then quickly smiled in response, "Hello!" The speaker was from the instruntal group, nad Ji Xiaoling; Sheng Ning rembered her because of her bright eyes.
"I heard you’ve returned, congratulations!" Ji Xiaoling’s current favorites were undoubtedly Sheng Ning and Chen Huaying, their performances at the Research Institute had outshone even other troupes including the Qianjin Song and Dance Troupe.
She was proud of them for bringing honor to the General Union Song and Dance Troupe; as long as soone wasn’t harboring jealousy, they couldn’t dislike Sheng Ning.
And she liked beautiful people!
"Thank you!" She was doubly grateful to every person willing to show her kindness. "I believe in the General Team; we were all led by them, and everyone should have a clear understanding of their character by now. Also, I hope people will stop discussing this matter." The more it was discussed, the more they fell into the trap of Hai Lan and the Hai Family.
Everyone blushed, slightly embarrassed.
Ji Xiaoling nodded, showing support. "Don’t worry! I’ll keep an eye on everyone, and I believe in the General Team too."
"Keep it up!" Sheng Ning gave an encouraging gesture and then headed to the canteen.
Those who got along well with Ji Xiaoling were also from the instruntal group, and they only trained together during major events. Due to Hope Field, their interactions had beco much less frequent than before. Once Sheng Ning walked far away, everyone sneaked peeks at her receding figure, especially a few well-mannered male comrades whose eyes clung to her.
