“Where is he?” the boss asked, referring to the person who had acted on their behalf, “You didn’t finish him off, how could they agree?”
“I told him we’d bring him to the mountains and bury him alive.”
Upon hearing this, the man relaxed, “Well then, hurry and bury him alive in the mountains. Bringing him to is just asking for trouble!” Though he didn’t know who he was dealing with, he was sure the man was not soone to ss with. He still wanted to survive in this world! “Boss, listen to ,” the person who had brought ng Ping whispered into the man’s ear, “This kid is rich, incredibly rich. It would be a sha to kill him just like that; we could make a fortune off him before he dies.”
“Really?” the man was skeptical.
“As true as it gets,” the person hastily assured, “He’s behind several big projects in the city, and it’s said he has assets overseas, too.”
“Yes, yes, yes… he admitted it himself.”
ng Ping, jarred by the bumpy car ride, which, combined with the cut he had made on his own wrist, left him feeling both dizzy and in pain. The wound had stopped bleeding, but it still hurt terribly. He had barely recovered a bit when he overheard the two n’s conversation and spoke up bluntly and directly, “I’m Second Young Master ng, and you don’t even bother to find out who’s got money? If I say I’m second, who has the guts to claim they’re first?”
His arrogant words convinced the man in an instant; this kind of confidence couldn’t be faked by just anyone.
“Bring him in here,” the man bellowed, and imdiately people pushed and shoved ng Ping inside.
The factory was huge and cluttered with a ss of things. As soon as ng Ping entered, a sour and stinking sll assaulted him, almost making him vomit.

“You looking to die? Even tied up you still have a smart mouth.” Angrily, one of them kicked him, causing ng Ping to buckle over but endure the pain. He swore to himself that he would repay the suffering he endured today many tis over.

“Not a smart mouth, but rather pity for you,” ng Ping coughed, producing a very pitiable sound. His previous injuries had not fully healed, and now he had been attacked again when he was captured—probably internal injuries this ti. Who knows how long it would take to recover?

ng Ping’s words made many people’s eyes gleam with greed, their faces flushed with excitent. Only the big man remained relatively calm as he squeezed past the crowd and walked up to ng Ping.
The factory was so dark it didn’t even have electric lights, just two kerosene lamps that barely illuminated anyone, casting vague shadows. Yet, the big man still got a clear look at ng Ping’s face and was utterly taken aback.

“That’s right!” One lecherous man drooled as he stared at ng Ping, “With such beauty, sleeping with him once would be worth dying for.”
ng Ping’s handso eyes narrowed dangerously, a sudden rush of murderous intent surging through him.
“Alright, kid, you’ve even got the nerve to hit on n, huh?”
