Chapter 792: Chapter 828: Climbing Through the Window at Midnight
“Hehehe…” Su Hai sneered, “Don’t worry, Great Leader Qin can’t keep an eye on his own grandson.”
“Su Jiang won’t agree. Without his consent, no one can move Qin Yue.”
That was true. The last ti Qin Yue was allowed to go was under special circumstances for a mission. This ti, arresting scarface was different; it really wasn’t easy to handle.
“You’ve stirred up the Shen Family with such a big move at this critical mont. If you need help, just say the word,” Su Hai, the old fox, usually liked to sit back and watch the tigers fight, but this ti he was surprisingly willing to get involved.
“Thanks! Just take good care of your sister,” ng Xingzhi got into the car, waved to Su Hai, and told his assistant to drive off.
Su Hai stood there, his face a complex mask. He stood for a long ti before returning ho, just in ti to bump into Su Huai’an on his way out.
“Where are you going this late?”
“Chen Huaying got hurt. I’m going to check on her.” Originally, Su Huai’an hadn’t wanted to visit her at all—who could hurt that fierce girl known as Mr. Chen, the Boss Flower?
But he couldn’t rest easy without seeing her. If she was hurt, it must be serious. Otherwise, his uncle wouldn’t have personally co to thank him.
“What?” Su Hai hadn’t caught on, looking up at the sky, “It’s so late, are you sure?”
“Is it late? Not really! It’s very close by, I’ll be back soon,” he said, feeling his reason wasn’t convincing enough, he added, “She’s my student, I should visit her out of both personal and moral obligation.”
“Aren’t you going to bring sothing? It’s not really good to go empty-handed.”
“Should I bring sothing?” He just wanted to see how badly she was hurt and whether it would affect her status as the school’s Boss Flower.
“Bring sothing! Grab so canned fruits from ho,” Su Hai finished and shouted for the maid to bring so canned fruits.
With the goods thrust into his hands, he hurried him, “Okay, then off you go!”
Watching his nephew’s back, Su Hai touched his chin and felt old for the first ti. His niece was married, and his nephew was in love. The fair and tender little boy had learned to visit a young lady at night.
Both houses were close to each other, and with his long legs, Su Huai’an arrived in just a few minutes. Mr. and Mrs. Chen had left, and Chen Ying Jie was out on a mission. Only Chen Yinghua, the old master, and Qu Wu Liu were at ho.
The Chen Family went to bed early, and the lights were off.
Su Huai’an stood downstairs for about ten minutes, not a smoker, furrowing his brows as he looked up. The room right above him was Chen Huaying’s; he had been there a few tis and, although he hadn’t paid particular attention, he had subconsciously morized it.
Dressed lightly when he left ho, just in a comfy wool sweater, his hands grew cold from standing too long. Just as he was about to leave, the light in a second-floor room suddenly turned on, and noises of chairs falling and Chen Huaying’s cries of pain could be heard.
He panicked on hearing this, didn’t think much, and pressed his hand lightly on the first-floor windowsill, easily getting up to the second floor. Those who thought Su Huai’an, a re university professor with seemingly no strength to truss a chicken, were sorely mistaken. How could Su Jiang allow his only son to be weak?
Chen Huaying was groggy, sitting on her bed. The dinner was a bit salty, and as she got up to get so water, she accidentally bumped into a chair, still groggy…
Oh my goodness! Why was Su Huai’an in her room?
She must be dreaming, still half-asleep! Chen Huaying stared at the ludicrous bandage, burrowed into her covers, and continued to shut her eyes to sleep.
