Chapter 87: Chapter 87: No Need for You to Trouble Yourself
“I’m fine!” Xu Qigang’s deep voice ca from above her head, snapping Sheng Ning back to reality.
She looked up with surprise, her gaze crashing into Xu Qigang’s abyss-like deep eyes. For a mont, she stared with her tender red lips parted, foolishly gazing at him.
A fleeting smile flashed in the depths of Xu Qigang’s eyes, so quick it was impossible to catch.
“Take a look at her.” After Xu Qigang placed her in a chair, Guo Siming finally noticed that he was actually holding soone in his arms. He rubbed his eyes, confirming repeatedly that it wasn’t a fignt of his imagination.
When Xu Qigang had entered, Guo Siming had felt sothing was off, but he never imagined Xu Qigang would be holding a woman?
“Are you stunned?” Xu Qigang saw no reaction from him and asked with an unhappy frown.

“Uh… No,” Guo Siming put away his curiosity and carefully asked Sheng Ning where she felt uncomfortable. His serious and responsible deanor was that of a dedicated doctor.
Sheng Ning kept staring at Xu Qigang, not really listening to Guo Siming’s questions.
“You don’t need to keep looking at .” Xu Qigang stood tall, casually looking in the direction of the corridor, not lowering his head to look at her.
Sheng Ning’s face flushed, she suppressed the ‘thumping’ of her heart and said with pursed lips, “Thank you, Captain Xu.”

A fire ignited within Sheng Ning, riled by his comnt. What did he an by that? If it weren’t for the fact that he ranked so much higher than she did, she wouldn’t be holding her breath right now.
Xu Qigang looked down at her from his lofty position, a flicker of confusion crossing his eyes. Why was she so angry? Had he said sothing wrong? Indeed, she did seem to be cripplingly weak each ti.
“There’s no need for your concern,” Sheng Ning said icily.
Xu Qigang recalled the scene he had witnessed at the hospital with her and Shen Jianguo and nodded in agreent, his expression unreadable. Then he glared at Guo Siming, who was gawking at the scene, “What are you staring at? Did I bring the patient to you for a show?”
Guo Siming nearly tripped over himself, thinking, Who did I provoke? Xu Qigang was too much. No, it was the entire War Wolf Rescue Team that was too much. He must have run into eight lifetis of bad luck to have been assigned here.
“What’s making you uncomfortable? Let’s take your temperature.”
“I’m just on my period,” Sheng Ning said calmly, “Earlier at the training ground, I nearly fainted…”
A suspicious flush appeared on Xu Qigang’s face.
“I’ve said it before, these bastards don’t know how to take care of females. Daring to bring soone on their period to the training ground, aren’t they afraid of causing trouble? What if it causes permanent damage to the female comrade, who would take responsibility then?” Guo Siming rolled up his sleeves, almost flying into a rage, and berated notorious hotheads in the team one after another, ending with a finger pointed at Xu Qigang, “The most despicable is you, the Living Yama, leading what? Then she glanced at Xu Qigang, his handso face seething with nace, his grip indicating that Guo Siming’s hand would be useless if he applied any more pressure.
