The Su Family, as relatives, inviting guests over is basic etiquette. Even though Sheng Ning didn’t really want to, she couldn’t find a reason to refuse. Seeing Su Hai personally co, she understood how much her grandfather valued it.
"Okay, I’ll go next door to call my in-laws."
"Wait a mont." Xu Qigang grabbed Sheng Ning’s hand, his eyes deep like a serene pool, glanced at Su Hai, "Can President Su give us a mont?" Xiao Ning hadn’t changed the way he addressed Su Hai, so of course, he wouldn’t either.
"...Alright!" Seems like his timing wasn’t the best.
"What’s wrong?" Sheng Ning asked, "Are you feeling uncomfortable? Should I get a doctor?"
"No need!" Xu Qigang looked at her intently, the deep affection in his eyes almost overflowing, "Co keep company tonight."
"No way, my sister’s staying alone, I can’t relax."
He tightly held her wrist and wouldn’t let go, "I told my mom already, she’ll stay with An’an tonight."
"You? ...How could you tell mother-in-law about this?" Sheng Ning couldn’t believe he discussed this with her mother-in-law, she felt she lost all face.
Xu Qigang awkwardly scratched his nose, "It was my mom’s idea."
"You..." Sheng Ning didn’t know what to say, her perspective had been completely shifted by the Xu Family. She felt the Xu Family was living ahead of the tis, their openness might just rival the twenty-first century.
"Then we’ll be off, you rest well in bed."
"Mm!" Xu Qigang nodded, watching as Su Hai and the others left, he imdiately got out of bed. He’d been stuck in bed all these days; if it weren’t for Xiao Ning watching over him, he would’ve gotten up much sooner.
"Captain, I’m here to keep a lookout for you." Chen Yingjie snuck around, "Sister-in-law and the others have all left, no need for you to stay cooped up in bed."
"Mm!" He moved his limbs a bit, feeling as if his body was rusting, eager to go outside and run a fifty-kiloter endurance course. "Let’s go, we’ll take a stroll in the garden."
At the ti, Xu Qigang’s injuries were extrely serious, but after passing the critical phase, he recovered quickly once he was able to get out of bed. Moreover, his physical condition was much better than the average person’s, even the doctor was amazed.
If it hadn’t been for Xiao Ning’s watchful eyes, he wouldn’t have held back for so long.

So, just as Sheng Ning walked out, the two n swaggered out of the inpatient building. One walked slowly, the other was limping. But it didn’t affect their commanding presence; passersby instinctively moved aside, and realizing who just left, their jaws dropped in shock.

The car drove straight into the General Union Courtyard, with Su Hai personally driving today. Xu Xianxiong sat in the front passenger seat, and Sheng Ning sat in the back with Zhao Lanzi and An’an. As they entered, a black jeep was just leaving, the bright red four-zero license plate particularly noticeable.
Just as the two cars were passing each other, Su Hai lowered the window and gave a simple wave of greeting to the passing jeep.
"Who was that?" Sheng Ning asked curiously.
"It’s the Minister of General Political Departnt, Minister Hai."
Su Hai’s tone was calm, but everyone in the car drew a sharp breath.
"Wow, such a high-ranking official, I never dread I’d see such a big leader," Xu Xianxiong clicked his tongue.
Su Hai was in a playful mood and couldn’t help but say, "Brother, I’m still President, you know!"
