Sheng Ning wiped her tears and said firmly, "I will protect An’an well in the future. I will never let sothing like this happen again."

When she walked out of the hospital gates, Su Huai’an was standing on the steps below, looking up at her.
"Going to the Main Hospital?"
"How do you know?"
"Hai Lan is staying there. How could I not know?" Su Huai’an said, with a hint of helplessness but also indulgence, "You and Chen Huaying really are good friends. Your minds are astonishingly alike."
"Chen Huaying went too?"
"Yes!" Su Huai’an nodded, "Heard the news at school and asked to pass the ssage that she’s waiting for you at the August 1 Hospital." After saying this, he noticed her red eyes, and his deanor changed entirely.
"You cried?"
"It’s nothing." Sheng Ning casually rubbed her eyes, hesitant to make it worse and afraid they might redden further.
"I’ll take you to the hospital."
Sheng Ning stared at him in surprise, as if seeing Su Huai’an for the first ti.
"What are you looking at?" Su Huai’an asked, annoyed. "My cousin was ambushed. Can’t I do sothing to help?" If Hai Lan weren’t a girl, he’d have beaten the person up himself.
"If you go personally, it shows the stance of Uncle."
"Oh!" Su Huai’an said noncommittally and took Sheng Ning into the car he drove from school.
The distance between the Main Hospital and the August 1 Hospital was a bit far. It took a full hour’s drive, and by the ti they arrived, the sun was nearly setting. Chen Huaying and Lu Dabao were sitting on the steps at the entrance.
Liu Yilan stood behind them, her fair face marked by three scars, though much fainter than before. Although they were still quite visible, they were not as hideous and frightening as before.
Throughout this ti after the new year, she has been actively receiving traditional Chinese treatnt and applying nurous ointnts. The effects were noticeable, and with ti, surely they would fade further.
The gaze of passersby would unconsciously land on Liu Yilan, displaying various emotions of pity, surprise, or disdain... all kinds of reactions. Yet, she stood upright, unfazed.
With her elegant and ethereal temperant, she seed completely detached from the people around. The more they stared at her, the more they were in awe. Even with scars on her face, it did not diminish her beauty at all.
