Actually, no one knows how humbly and cautiously he loves. Before the two got married, he couldn’t even imagine she would marry him.
Getting married felt like a dream to him, afraid that one day he would wake up from it.

In the bathroom, she was stunned after showering.
Damn it! In the rush to escape, she forgot to bring her nightgown, what now? Could she put on the clothes she just took off? That’s impossible, they’re already drenched in sweat.
"Xiao Ning, did you forget your clothes?"

Xu Qigang’s footsteps left, she finished washing the clothes before opening the door and coming out, realizing it was already eleven o’clock. Guessing he was probably asleep, she treaded quietly back to the room.
On the bed, Xu Qigang was lying inside, covered with the thin blanket she just changed, his long legs exposed.
Sheng Ning turned off the lights, moved softly to the bed and just lay down, when the man’s strong arm reached out and pulled her onto himself.
"Weren’t you asleep?"
Xu Qigang opened his eyes, his fiery gaze breathtakingly bright in the darkness, Sheng Ning’s heart couldn’t help but race. "Weren’t you asleep?"
"I was waiting for you."
Sheng Ning blushed as her face felt like it was burning, "Let down first."
He didn’t take it to heart at all, "My injury has long healed."
"Really?"
"Yeah!" He pointed to the right side of his chest, "Look, the gauze is removed."
Sheng Ning lowered her head and found the gauze was indeed gone, leaving a scar the size of a one yuan coin. Judging by the scar, it’s imaginable how painful it was back then.
Sheng Ning’s tears fell onto the scar with a plop.
"It must have hurt a lot, right?"
"It’s okay!"
"Were you scared last night?" Xu Qigang found a topic to distract himself. Otherwise, with his urge for affection, she simply wouldn’t be able to withstand it.
"No, I wasn’t afraid at all. Will the enemy return?"
"Yes, as long as they’re still alive, they’ll keep coming." He thought of sothing, and his face turned much colder.
"What should we do? We can’t always be passively defending."

Her previous fatigue vanished at the ntion of having a baby, she tilted her head and kissed his chin expectantly, "I’m at a dangerous ti right now, maybe I’m already pregnant."
"Then lie down quickly." The man’s expression changed dramatically, even slightly distancing himself, fearing he might inadvertently harm her.
"I was kidding." The dangerous ti was real, but getting pregnant isn’t that easy. Even if confird, the sound wouldn’t be for another two months.
