Liang An had so matters to attend to, and when he left, he took Ning Hao with him. Ling Yao had already taken the morning off and didn’t have class until two in the afternoon, so he planned to leave a little later.
As soon as Ning Hao and the others left, he sat down on the sofa next to Hua Yan, took the initiative to peel an apple, and asked while peeling.
"This boy is much more mature compared to a few years ago, but why does he want to study dicine? It’s so difficult, isn’t it? It takes over ten years of hard work, right?"
Hua Yan nodded, "Yes, pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD. When other classmates are already married and having children, he might still be on the path of study. Once he gets into a hospital, he’ll have to start as an intern doctor, which is very challenging. But he says he’s not afraid because he hates the feeling of being powerless when family mbers are seriously ill. You know, his parents died at the car accident scene without him even having a chance to see them one last ti. That regret is as painful as watching my mother die right in front of at the ti."
Ling Yao’s school wasn’t close to Hua Yan’s hospital, so Hua Yan said very understandingly,
"You don’t have to run back and forth either. I’m afraid the reshoots of our scenes won’t be until sumr."
"Not necessarily. Uncle Liang plans to go back and revise the script. He even exclaid how he couldn’t capture such a brilliant scene."
Hua Yan’s mouth twitched, "Uncle Liang truly is a businessman, not wanting to miss any opportunity!"
Originally thought it was just a joke, who would have thought Liang An actually went back and changed the script, making the second male lead a doctor, and the second female lead hospital-bound due to an accident, discovering the attending doctor is her ex-boyfriend.
Reading the script, she looked speechlessly at Liang An, "Uncle, isn’t this plot too lodramatic? Don’t you think it’s cliché?"
Back in high school, there was a vague understanding. They had agreed to go to the sa city, but in the end, the second male lead changed plans and left for another country without a word. The second female lead was heartbroken, deciding not to choose the initially ntioned Shanghai but instead headed for Beijing, studying Broadcast and Television at Renmin University of China, with plans to enter television. However, during her senior year internship, after encountering hidden rules, she decided to join a dia company to work in new dia instead.
If the previous scene in the rain was considered one encounter, then this scene should count as an important plot of nding broken ties.
"Cliché? But haven’t you noticed that the more cliché the plot, the more people watch it, and the more likely it is to happen?"
"We’ve already contacted the hospital, and they agreed to let us film there, so your scenes won’t be delayed. I’ve thought about it, and the plot will use the incident from last night as material. You said if only you had recorded it."
Hua Yan dared not say she had recorded it. Not to ntion whether Liang Tian would charge her more, she didn’t want to use the original video. What if sothing went wrong? So, since he’s using this scene, let it be. But she probably needs to wait until her hand is better to reshoot.
Filming hospital scenes is not sothing that can be done on a whim. First, the second male lead’s professional skills need pre-training before entering the shooting phase, which also requires preparatory work. So whenever there’s no class, she would see Ling Yao running to the hospital, and she, who originally needed only a week to be discharged, ended up staying in the hospital for a month until all the hospital scenes were finished before leaving.
Her physical condition was far better than an average person’s; others might need as many as one hundred days or even longer to recover, but Hua Yan was actually ready in less than a month. So after discharge, she refused to go ho and went to school instead, where all her classmates treated her like a protected animal.
Especially Molly, who during the frequent hospital visits, beca such good friends with her that they talked about everything.
When Molly found out Hua Yan was filming with Ling Yao, she too was quite surprised, and Liang An even asked Molly to guest-star as Hua Yan’s good friend. She never thought the saying "No fight, no acquaintance" would happen in reality.
Through such interactions, Hua Yan also found out that Molly was a pitiful person. Her biological mom abandoned her, her stepmom was indifferent, and her biological dad was busy with business. She was just an outsider. Despite being on the news last ti, no one in her family called to show concern, except for the monthly living allowances deposited in her account. Molly felt completely detached from that family.
After being with Hua Yan, she realized that one could live so wonderfully without relying on anyone and even encouraged Molly.
