The last two sheep were kept in the chicken coop, which was big enough when built, so she didn’t have to duck to get inside.

Keeping them there at least kept them from getting rained on, knowing that they ate grass, she even specially planted so grass in her "space" for them.

But when these two sheep first arrived, they weren’t very eager to eat, after all, they were wild. If it hadn’t been for one of the kids getting hurt, the mother sheep probably wouldn’t have obediently let her keep them enclosed. So psychologically unwilling, they were very resistant to her feeding.

It was out of desperation that she thought of the grass in her "space." It seed to have a special aroma. As soon as she brought it close to their mouths, they snapped at it, and then gobbled it down with such speed that it left her astonished.

A basket of grass was quickly depleted. She had spent an hour planting it, and they ate it all in one al?

It was so expensive to maintain them like this. She couldn’t afford it!

Xiao Yu frowned, unwilling to use her own grass anymore. She then turned to give them the vegetables she had grown herself, like green vegetable leaves, corn leaves, peanut leaves, sweet potato leaves, etc. As for the "space," it definitely couldn’t be left idle, so she planted so potatoes and more green vegetables.

But they only took a bite of these and then refused to eat anymore. Instead, they kept bleating at her, which annoyed her greatly, and she could only try to comfort them.

"There’s no more. That’s all there is. Who told you to eat so quickly? If you’re hungry, eat these; if not, you’ll just have to stay hungry."

Then she placed the vegetables she had prepared in front of them and went about her own business.

These two sheep probably hadn’t eaten the vegetables she grew before, so when she ca down again, she noticed they had eaten so of the vegetables. Although they weren’t completely finished like the grass, at least they were eating sothing, which was progress.

The animals on the island must also drink mountain spring water, but she didn’t know how they found it. Anyway, the cave she had chosen seed to have a crevice that dripped a large tankful every day, enough for her dostic use. The water quality was exceptionally clear, good for washing her face, brushing teeth, scrubbing pots, washing dishes, and doing laundry. As for drinking, she used water from her "space."

Since she had water, she placed a basin of water made from an earthen kiln in front of them.

With both food and water available, these days were unlike any they had experienced before. After the restlessness of the first day, they seed a bit unaccustod to such treatnt. By the second day, though they still cried out when they saw her, they were noticeably calr than the first day. At least the little one was now calmly lying on the ground enjoying the sun.

The mother sheep probably wasn’t just leading this one lamb; her udders were swollen, making her so agitated that she ramd the fence. Then Xiao Yu opened the fence to let her out, perhaps there were other little ones, so she just glanced back at her son and ran off. The little sheep behind her didn’t follow, inexplicably staying put and comfortably napping on the ground, which left her quite perplexed.

However, what surprised her even more followed. When she returned from fishing at Noon, she discovered not only had the mother sheep returned, but she had also brought back three more lambs.

Xiao Yu stared in astonishnt at the flock that had wreaked havoc on her vegetables, feeling furious inside. She grabbed a stick and waved it to drive them away.

Yet, it appeared as if the mother sheep had made up her mind about her. She squeezed up to the front of the chicken coop with her kids and even nudged the latch with her chin. It seed like she wanted Xiao Yu to lock them inside. Good heavens, were they actually insisting she take care of them?
